  • Any idea if the waveform changes if you use a different motor (larger or smaller phase inductance for example). I'm sure it will change slightly the slope of the top of the pulses, but I'm curious about the pulse frequency/duty cycle. Any test done yet?

  • Really great test !! in order to view much better the wave form of the signals sended by the ESC out, you may replace the engine coils by some electrical resistors. I mean simple create a delta or star configuration using electrical resistors the value must be 100 ohms at 1 watt in order to reduce the amount of current. I almost sure that you will get a nice and square waveforms, The important parameters to determine: Frecuency Min, Frec Max and time between fases. thank you

  • that was very interesting, i wondered what pattern exactly an esc puts into a bl motor, id heard somewhere it was just pulses to simplfy it but its not. I have that efilte 450 in my orion powered glider on a 3s 1300mAh, its insanely powerful:)

  • The E-flite 450 would take my E-flite Mini-Pulse XT straight up on a fresh charge. I have been amazed at the power of the brushless motor/LiPo combinations, and all witht the flip of a switch - same performance every time. I have to admit to missing the sound and smell (but not the oliy mess) of the nitro engines, though.
