He knew signing for Simtek ment he would have no chance of racing competitively and that due to money, he may not even last the entire season, but he just wanted to race in Formula One.

A nice tribute, I like it. Sadly people often forget Roland when they talk about Imola 1994, it's because Senna was more famous and he had the chance to win the world champiosnip in 94. But Roland was an equal human being. RIP Roland!

Tears still come to my eyes when i remember that weekend..Sad is such a small way to describe the death of two men in those situations..I still can't explain how i feel when a man like Ayrton cryes when he see's the death of Roland and takes a flag to honour him on the next day and dies himself..

als österreicher tut immer wieder das herz weh wenn man einen der eigenen sterben sieht.
ich habe damals ratzenberger und senna sterben gesehen und dieses wochenende wird mich bis zu meinem tod verfolgen.
2 menschen sind in jungen jahren gestorben und haben eine grosse lücke hinterlassen...
