"Work of Human Hands: A Theological Critique of the Mass of Paul VI by Rev. Anthony Cekada Softcover, 468 pages $24.95" -Interesting. You can be enlightned only by 24,95 dollars! How adoroable! What if I'll pay 50 $ more, can I be also ressurected right here and right now!? I've a doubt. If that what thou sayst is so important then why we hav to pay money for that? Did Jesus Christ earn money for his work of helping sinners?
thank you sooo much father for taking the time to make these video ,... may the most Holy Ghost and our Lady seat of wisdom bless and reward you abundantly ,
Are you referring to the "New Rite" or the "New- New Rite" ? Just wondering. Does the new-New Rite change the dynamics of the argument? I'm just curious to know how you feel...
@omGOP3 By the "New-New Rite," I assume you mean the new translation authorized for English-speaking countries.
It doesn't change the argument, because WHH examines the LATIN original of the Mass of Paul VI. This is the source of the theological problems with the new rite.
(I discuss the problem of the faulty translations briefly in Chapter 4.
To add to my comment below, the crucifix at the Kamuela Church here on the Big Island of Hawaii is about 30 feet to the right of the altar. Chapter 7 of Work of Human Hands, "Art, Architecture, Furnishings: Ready for Assembly" is right on target.
Thank you for the work you are doing. I am studying carefully and enjoying reading and marking up Work of Human Hands. I knew there was a reason the Mass of Paul VI felt spiritually dead. No Traditional Mass here, and the local Catholic Church has a window with a view of beautiful Kamuela front and center where the Crucifix should be. I have attempted to go to the New Mass, but feel disgust which I take as a spiritual sign, and so pray and study the Traditional Mass on my own.

I'm not a Sedevacantist, but this book touches on things that no theologian and liturgist can ignore.

Yes, this is exactly what is needed: a reasoned explanation of the differences between the old and new rites of Mass! Keep up the good work!
