This is a one of most popular folklores in Finland.

könnin kuokkamies was a mechanical worker or a robot. it was built for a work in farm. the legend says,it drowned because the man who was operating it falled a sleep and didn't turn it when the field ended. (sorry for mistakes,my english isn't very good because im finnish :P )

I'd figure it is the old fear of change. This album is very _different_ from the old albums, but it is still very nice. Same things go for Eisregen, Nightwish, Aporeiter... all of these have new albums with drastic changes in style, which are good, but vastly different from the old things. Even further, look at e.g. people who heavily dislike the internet for no reason, just because it is new and different. *sight*.

Kickass song! :D There are many Ostrobothnian (Western-Finnish) legends about Könni´s mechanical mattockman from the eve of the steam engine era.

According to folklore, the poor robot drowned into a river, because the farmhand fell asleep and did not turn around the machine in time when it reached the end of the field.
