There has to be new legislations and regulations directed at the banking system (the big bank elite) relative to loans and derivatives as well as bonuses. Plus a tax system for investment traders (their status is like "betting").

I applaud the young people who are protesting to try and bring AWARENESS to the WORLD of how the world GOT INTO THIS FINANCIAL MESS.

SECONDLY, I can only wish that the YOUNG PEOPLE had gotten together over the IRAQ war (like they did with Vietnam.)

With the loss of the military draft and the advent of volunteer paid military in America, young people were not intensely personally affected.

So much for 1st Amendment rights. I posted a small comment here and it was deleted. I retired from the Air Force after 20 years. I now live on $900 a month and raise my 4 kids on it. We all pitch in where needed to make sure that we have enough to eat every month without food stamps. Have any of you picked up aluminum cans to make ends meet. How about selling scrap iron? I have health insurance with a co-payment and I pay just like anyone else who goes to the Hospital.

Very good post. I'm glad someone is exposing Schiff. He is a shill, and a user, and I'm not sure he even deserves the air time he gets. He perpetuates the very things that are destroying our way of life. He trades on emptiness, and makes nothing EXCEPT money.

I'm confused on M. Moore's definition of "Capitalism". I thought "capitalism" is businesses (supply side) raise capital to grow & provide value added goods/services for consumers (demand side). Consumers have ALL the power in that they choose which businesses grow and which ones fail using their dollar "votes".. IE, consumers "voted" on Amazon.com as opposed to Circuit City, which has gone out of business.. When govn't intervenes in this process, it distorts the markets & consumers loose out.
