  • is the pterodactyl voiced by Billy West (of Doug, Futurama, Ren & Stimpy fame)

  • I played the SNES game at a friend's house, and for years I had no idea there was a movie until I found it in a video rental store in like, 1996. It was so bad I never even bothered to finish watching it.

  • Was my fav movie when i was a kid xD

  • Holy Crap! I've been looking every where for this trailer! Brings back memories!

  • Who wants the Nostalgia Critic or Obsuras Loopa to review this movie

  • as a kid I loved this movie and I hated this movie. I loved it for the funny action packed kung Fu T-rex and Triceratops...but I hated it because it felt like a knock off of the ninja turtles...what a paradox

  • Holy cow! I finally found it. I remember watching this in elementary school.

  • I finally found the title of this movie. I googled movies of dinosaurs. Then google came up with "top 10 worst dinosaur movies of the 90's". I loved this movie as a kid. I'm going to buy on dvd.

  • dishwasher? YES

  • I was OBSESSED with this movie when I was younger. Haha. Always remembered it but forgot what it was called.

  • Sweet fancy Moses! I can't believe anyone else remembers this movie, but I guess there were plenty of people buying abominable straight-to-video movies back in the 90s.

  • this was hilariously bad.

  • I feel like my childhood just punched me in the mouth.

  • Looking for somebody who's supposed to be "getting off"?! I used to watch this movie all the time.

  • O.M.G!!!! i used to loooove whenever this movie was on TV like on Disney Channel! yes! Disney Channel! hard to believe i know! they actually played some good stuff back in the 90s!

  • holy shitballs!! i loved this movie when i was a kid and i just stumbled upon it again, had totally forgot about it untill now, im 23 now. it brought back some memories.

  • Wow, I actually saw this movie, but I forgot all about it. I'd love to see Nostalgia Critic review it.

  • I woke up today with the theme playing in my head, I have no idea why, I’ve not watched it in years.

It’d odd but I can still remember the music to this movie haha.

I may still have it on video somewhere; I may root it out & watch it for the nostalgia factor.

  • I've still got this on VHS. Bought it for like 2 bucks at a movie store that was closing down.

  • is like a knockoff of tmnt movies or sometin?

  • @moviedudeful so geting sucked in to a tv/movie is like tmnt lol nah is a good movie man

  • ha i use to love this movie

  • I spent over ten years trying to remember the name of this movie and locate it for myself. I was almost starting to think that it was nothing more than a vivid childhood dream.

Now I have just one more movie I have to track down. Something with a muscular guy with long dark hair who has 5 or 10 bleeding nipples on his chest. Any takers?

  • @sethmanrockandroll seriously, me too! I have some strange stills of movies I'm sure were movies in my head no one can help me with. I don't know about your nipple guy.

I have an ice castle in the middle of a desert or plateau the people are trying to get to, and one (maybe the same one) where a kid is walking through a grassy courtyard with marble statues that start talking. A lion or something.

  • The thing that hurts the most is that the memories of these films are really cool. The 80s and early 90s had a lot of great fantasy movies with cyborgs and dinosaurs and barbarians (which have something to do with the nipple bleeding muscle head. The closest resemblance I know would have to be the Barbarian Brothers or the Guitarist for Alice Cooper). I almost want to plagiarize the stories so that the real filmmakers can sue me, and then I can finally track down their films once and for all!

  • PS

You might try the Wizard of Oz sequel (Return to Oz, I think) as my own personal guess at what you describe. The Ice Castle also reminds me of Conan the Destroyer, but I'm guessing it must be more obscure than something that would have Arnold in it.

There's also Labyrinth, with David Bowie, but again... I'm not sure if I'm being obscure enough. If you're like me, then the things we were watching may have been WAY OUT THERE and forever difficult to track down again.

  • Conan the Barbarian does look familiar but I can't get a picture of a castle anywhere. I completely forgot I saw that movie. I'm sure it is way too out there for google or something.

  • I meant Conan The Destroyer, the sequel, they have a big ice castle, along with several other terrains that come and go. I'm not quite certain if its your movie though.

  • @sethmanrockandroll I completely meant to write destroyer. I'll have to look into it more. Thanks for the info though.

  • I'm in the SAME BOAT. I might have seen thison the Disney channel over 15 years ago. I hardly remember the specifics of the show but I know it involved kids getting sucked through a TV into a land of dinosaur like creatures. Luckily a friend pointed me toward this.

  • I think I still have this on VHS. Even as a kid I found this crappy but hilarious at the same time ^^

  • I cannot stand watching this

I love the game but the movie looks horrible

  • I own this on VHS! Imho, the best movie ever aired on Disney Channel.

  • Disclaimer: so I actually stole the last part of the comment off imdb, but I do wholeheartedly agree.

  • Was it only on cable at first? Never released theatrical?

  • I have no idea.

  • Some one should post the song from the movie

  • Finally found this! I was about to go crazy. Now my head will just explode from nostalgia.

  • It took me over ten years.

  • I remember this turd.

  • OMG i used to own this movie on VHS XD i wounder if i still have this...

  • im actually tempted to order this on VHS

  • 5 stars says Empire

  • so glad i stumbled across this! had it on tape and watched it nearly everyday!

    ahhh memories

  • There was a game released on SNES (by the now defunct Irem) based on this called "Dino City". It wasn't until years later that I realized the two were related when I saw this movie mentioned over on X-Entertainment.

  • I can't believe I forgot this part of my childhood until recently I was reading a comment about the king kong movie and it mentioned jurassic park, and then I was like "ummm wasn't there a movie I had on video tape which I watched a lot?" then I found this :P

  • i wonder how they got Jerry Seinfeld to voice the Triceratops

  • i was looking for someone who was suppose to be getting off........ lmfao jajajajajajajaj

  • Brings back memories

  • i'd almost chalked this up to a dream and stopped believing it existed. thank you /b/ and youtube for making me a believer once more.

  • I really miss this movie - I used to watched this all the time when I had it on tape. Of course, since then, it had mysteriously vanished. Here's hoping it would be released on DVD. If Princess and the Gobline, We're Back: A Dinosaur Story and other random films can make, so can this! :D

  • They used to show this on Disney Channel all the time

  • God this is one of the worst movies ever. I'd still watch it though.

  • holy shit! i had forgotten all about this!

  • oyy my brothers and i used to watch this a lot when we were kids... brings back memory! hahaha

  • rule34

  • GIMME CLAW!!!

  • Rex and Tops!!!

  • WOW! I used to watch this film when I was bout 3 or 4. I watched it so much that it stuck in my memory until now (21) but I didn't know the name.

I can FINALLY toss that out of my mind :P

  • yea same here, except I had the theme song stuck in my head, and didnt know where it was from till now XD

  • @Cyrunix Same here. This damn Theme song. It is kinda awesome though o_O''

  • Looks like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

  • the music in this movie is epic. Id like to have it

  • I loved this movie when i was a kid

  • I remember when I saw this on TV back in '92 and was really into it. I remember crying at the end when they say goodbye to their Dino friends and go back home.

  • Slam on Mutant Ninja Turtles outta nowhere in the first ten seconds. Promising.

  • this was one of my favorite childhood movies. I love it.

  • This movie has to be up there in the worst of all time.

  • Cute movie.

  • I put up some deleted scenes. If you like Adventures in Dinosaur City you might want to check them out. They have never been aired in North America.

  • What the name in french?

  • Aw man, nostalgia trip.XD

  • looks funny HAHAHA

  • Wow! That brought back memories! Gonna have to find this movie now. =D

  • I almost forgot about this movie! I loved it just like i loved land before time lol. Yes i'm a Dork!!!

  • Man, this movie was so awesome when I was kid.

  • O_O

  • Funny coincidence...I was watching my old VHS of this thing just the other day!

While it was weird as all get-out, it had some funny bits, too. The refrence to the Ninja Turtles is funny...I didn't ever see the trailer so I had no idea it was even floating around!

  • that was random "Way before... turtles."

  • It's a reference to the live action TMNT movies.

  • wow cool. But even if it was a reference it's still pretty random

  • @sonicsuks I was gonna reply to your comment, then I realized that it is 2 years old... oh.

  • Prehistoric Dinosaur would approve. Kill all longnecks.

  • Pamietam ten film hahaha... :D

  • 1:12, that was cold.

  • Rex & Tops ftw lol

  • i loooooved this movie. i wish i could see it again!

  • I was working on a computer program yesterday and for absolutely no reason at all blurry memories of this movie started popping into my mind and I couldn't quite remember it, but after seeing this trailer it has all come back to me now. I loved this movie as a kid. I used to rent it over and over and over along with some transformers videos. We would literally take the videos back just to renew the rental and go back home with this stuff. I have to find this movie!

  • EVERY time i tried to tell someone about this movie, they'd look at me like i was crazy. thanks for confirming that i didn't imagine this whole thing! i used to rent this & the Prehysteria movies over & over. gooood times.

  • This movie was so weird. Hehe, I loved it. XD

  • Me near it have places rental movie no? Netflix on this is.

  • is this on netflix? no movie rental places have it near me

  • nope. :(

  • Just recently saw it. They left the movie on a cliffhanger, opening the possibiblites of a sequel which was never made...that really sucked. Despite it being abit odd, it was a decent flick.

  • i remmber this....it was wierd beyond weird....but one of the fun ones to watch :)

  • How can something that lame seem sooooo cool when your a kid. I was obssesed with that movie forever.

  • i posted a question on yahoo answers trying to figure out what this movie was called. i agree with the rest of you who said you didnt know anyone else ever heard of this.

  • As kids my cousin would record anything on television that was funny on the VCR. We all watched the movie when it came on cable one weekend and our favorite part was the Triceratops doing the round house kick saying: Ay Yai Yah.

We recorded that part and watched it over so many times until it wasn't funny anymore. There was also a part where the T-rex was boxing. Hilarious. Nothing like the old school".

  • this movie was awesome. thanks for uploading.

  • Someone please upload this movie!! This was my favorite as a kid!

    This movie looks horrible.

  • this movie was bad..but it brings me nostalgia

  • Oh man! Seeing this almost brings me to tears. I remember I use to always watch this movie. Seeing this trailer, I can almost remember every single scene. I haven't seen the movie in so long. Man Rex and Mr. Big were badass. Haha! So many memories. Makes me sad to see them go. Wish I could go back to those days and just watch the movie all over again.

  • OMG! I remember this movie! I remember the triceratops got with the big-titty cavegirl. And at the end there was a horrible rap called Gimme Claw and my best friend and I knew it by heart. LOL. This movie is so terrible.

i dont remember that sexual innuendo tho..."im lookin for someone whos supposed to be getting off"...

    wooo...thats what she said.

  • This movie kicks ass!

  • This movie was corny out the wazoo, and every self-proclaimed "movie critic" that has seen this movie has called it a load of s**t, but in my prepubescent years, this movie was ectasy, and awesome enough to keep my attention for an unheard-of 88 minutes. I saw this more than I saw all the Star Wars movies combined, times three.

  • this movie was the shit when i was a kid, but after watching this i think ill just leave it at that, i dont wanna ruin a good thing.
