mexican movies don't suck. last year, three of the top movies of the year were by mexican directors: 1)Children of Men, 2)Babel, and 3)Pan's Labyrinth. Let's not forget that Robert Rodriguez's first Desperado movie was El Mariachi, filmed in Mexico and entirely in Spanish. Most Hollywood movies nowadays follow generic formulas and aren't really all that great.
