MMOFPS don't work. MMO is about progression, so the person who plays the hardest and does the most dominates.

FPS = skill. Everyone needs to be on the same level so the FPS aspect doesn't get frusterating.

How do you combine skill and progression?

WoW struggles to do it too... but an FPS puts it to another level.

I think FPS RPGs are the bane of gaming.

Last time I checked MMO meant Massively Multiplayer Online so it has nothing to do with progression just how many people are playing and if it can be played over the internet

FPS is a First Person Shooter so the only requirements by definition is shooting stuff and a first person view point

also Call Of Duty 4 one of the most popular FPS games has a leveling system

and the easiest way to combine skill and progression is to progress based on the skill you demonstrate

Everything in the game looks great, but I agree about the PvP. PvP should just be everywhere, or nowhere. It kinds of ruins the atmosphere and immersion if I can kill a guy over here, but not over here.

I've been keeping track on this game for a while now and it keeps getting better and better! I'm really starting to grow weary of all those fantasy mmorp's... so im definatly going to play this one, it seems the developers are doing a great job creating this post-apocaliptic "mad max" like evironment, awesome!
