The beginning is some string with grey mood; then vocal, horn, electric sfx & distortion are just like our messy world, the pace is just as our pace in entire life keep on increase; then is the string as beginning again, but already being distorted, and with sha sha like our vitality being crushed by the rushing life; but what makes this song not simply sad, is the last phrase with bird sound, and music alike from music box. Bday is not to witness our lose in vitality but keep our heart pure.

Nice interpretation! Since the first song I've heard of W.E.G. I know this guy was special. I'am always in search of 'this kind' of music. Not the style (WEG is all over the place anyway) , but the feeling it creates. He can set such a good mood, and everybody will 'understand' it. There are just a few bands capable of doing this. Other bands that gives me this feeling also are Mogwai, Mono (check out the album with WEG!) and Sigur Ros.

This reminds me of Devotchka and Banco de Gaia. Very beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakbeat and general playfulness of the song.

Just to note, the song ends at about 5 minutes.
