@breezy1656 - you just need to use a quick pass of the lighter. just brush it quickly across the end of the ribbon and be sure not too hold it there too long or else the ribbon will start to melt. hope that helps! :)

i use 6 X's the length of how ever wide i want my bow. so if i want a 4 inch bow, i use 24 inches of ribbon. there may be some left over to trim, but that way, you are sure to have enough!
