when i backcomb my hair i dont do the back so i makesure tht i brush the back so it blends in wi ma rest ov hair. b4 i do tht i hairspray the back and let tht dry b4 i blend it down x :)

@XxmcrfreakxX1 Yeah, all that teasing and hairspray and straightening really damages your hair. If you do it everyday, you're hair will be completely dead. If you do it every once in a while, you're hair should be fine though. :)

I've never dared backcomb my hair out of fear it'll turn into knots and then I'd have to cut it. I've always gone for full straight fringe and long hair, EmilyTheStrange-like. But this does interest meeeeee

@finnieminnie it can be difficult and it does cause knots but it wouldn't cause that much damage that you'd have to cut your hair :) if you ever do it, the easiest and less painful way to brush it out is to section your hair into small sections and then brush out each section individually, cause if you try and brush all your hair at once it hurts pretty bad haha!
