  • Great video!!! you´re a fantastic dad.

  • @JackD053 Thanks for watching!

  • any idea how many pounds your pulling at what draw length, thing looks like 45 lbs at 28"

  • It's really awesome to see Father and Son using fun stuff together. Keep up the good work .

  • Good job hope you get some fish!

  • @McClungMichaell Thanks for watching!

  • That was clever, I wasn't really paying attention and didn't get the purpose of the reel and string until the first shot was done. I was then amused and impressed all the same. Awesome job.

  • @TheCaptain008 Thanks for checking it out!

  • good father and sons share same good hobby togather

I just got myself scumbag dad who keep trolling a the time. . .

  • @devil5cry Thanks for watching....I try to spend as much time with my son as possible. Sorry to hear about your Dad.

  • @devil5cry I know how it is

  • @RamblinAround i have to ideas for ammo first take a regular baloon and fill it with water so it will firmly fit into the barrel then carefully rap the baloon with duct tape also ad bbs if u want also melt pellets to make the tip ar even the whole bullet also make some famming ammo for the bow and the air cannon

  • I really liked it its pretty intellegent

  • @Jacobyoakum13 Thanks for taking a look at it!

  • about $ 500000000000000

  • HOW MUCH FOR THE BOW AND ARRWS LIKE 30 ARROWS MAKE ME A PRICE NOW!!!!!

  • nice bow .

  • @MyPregnant Thanks for watching!

  • what did u use for string on the bow ?

  • @THEMEGAFORD It was some 130 Lb test braided nylon line. Thanks for watching!

  • Tutorial? Plz, or atleast tell me how long it takes to dry out :D Thx

  • u should use black metallic paint instead and make the handle and arrow gold that would look really cool :)

  • that string looks like it wont hold onto the arrow? how did it work? i do bow fishing and this looks like a great thing for like the youngsters! definetly cool man.

  • i made one thats 6'

  • the bamboo works better if you make it out of staves laminated together, has real good cast and an arrow that is spined for the draw weight of the bow otherwise if they dont match it will affect the accuracy of the bow. though its plain to see you two are handy and tinkerers but I get the urge to say dont try this at home lol

  • yeah what is the string

  • i tried making one from bamboo and it snapped please give advice

  • @legomama05 If you pick a fresh piece of bamboo, you have to let it dry out for awhile until you can use it. It won't work when it's green, it has to turn yellow first. Part of it is choosing a piece that's the right size as well.

  • @skimboarder321 Using a spool is a good idea....we might give that a try.

  • @skimboarder321 No problem, thanks for watching! We may have to try to build a compound bow at some point.

  • @nimbla1 Thanks for checking it out.........it's just standard braided nylon string. I think it was like 100 Lb test.

  • Nice done

  • Pretty cool Jordan!! What's next....Harpoon, Flame thrower?? ☺

  • jordan is very talented.

  • Nice job Jordan!

  • what a great kid, very inventive, it seems to come natural for him. This is a great channel, I'm new here but I'm enjoying your vids very much. Thank you.

  • Bows, Arrows, Air Cannons, what else do you all have on your compound?

  • @scottsadventures We've always wanted to build a trebuchet out of telephone poles, but that will be a pretty ambitious project. We better be careful calling our place a compound.......the ATF seems to like to invade "compounds"..lol.

  • @RamblinAround Oooops, just a slight slip of words. A trebuchet would be awesome, lots of things could be launched then.

  • @scottsadventures I've wanted to build one ever since seeing a man in the UK named Hew Kennedy. He built a huge trebuchet and launched everything from pianos, to cars, to dead farm animals. Definitely looks like a lot of fun, but a bit dangerous too.

  • great job by the kid! you may have an engineer on your hands there!

  • you guys are building a arsenal out there

  • @paradoxdesigns Yep, and bigger weapons are on the way...lol

  • Great job looks good I might put my Browning away and work on one of these my self and see what I can kill -Jason

  • Great Job Jordan!,..Now Lets See ya Shoot some Fish,..A Big ol Carp,..or a Gator Gar,..Have a Great Week Guys,..Love All your Guts!

  • It's good to see Jordan doing constructive things as so many teens are bored and getting into trouble. You're a very good dad to him.

  • Great bow you guys made.

  • @monarch1957 Thanks, but I can't take any credit. This bow was all Jordan's handy work. ~Jeff

  • Quite the inventive kid you got there.Cool bow.

  • @pulse0000 Thanks, maybe in a future vid I'll showcase some more of his projects. He's been building cool things for years now.

  • you guys together, Best buddy's..lol.

  • That is a really cool bow! We used something similar when we went gar fish hunting, but it wasn't nearly as cool as that! Thats a great idea.

That air cannon idea sounds awesome... Got the wheels in my head turning! Can't wait to see that video

  • That is real cool Jordan and the bigger string makes it easier for us to see . I never knew that bamboo would make a good bow . Thanks to both of you for another great video .

  • Thats very cool man :)
