You use your judgement when muggles ask, you can tell them or not, they either get curious or don't. Stealth is required 'coz when you snoop around it looks suspicious.

i personally would not say anything to a muggle about geocaching.. if they dont know what geocaching is thats their problem.. ppl are just paranoid because all this terrorist bullshit has got everyone spooked... ive told many muggles to mind their own business when they ask me what im doing.. also.. you should not hide a geocache in high muggle areas.. you are asking for trouble..

If a muggle were to ask you what you are doing, you should tell them, so they do not call the cops for a bomb scare. I would try not to reveal the cache, but you should prolly tell a curious muggle that you are geocaching.

I didnt want him to call the cops... so i told him. Once i found it i showed him the cache, and he laughed and said it was fine that i was scarying him :D
