oh, and the load time for TF2 is desktop speed, and there isn't any lag what so ever grafix wise. if you have a bad connection though, of course you get normal lag.

The M17x dissapoints me. Mine just came, all decked out with a Quad QX9300, 8 Gigabytes of RAM, and 2x NVIDIA 280M, and for the price I paid it's not showing any 'awesome' performance. Sure, it plays games like a beast, and the cool lights really stand out. But my friend's W90 laptop is almost the same (just not as cool), and I think he only paid $2,499 or something for his. Yeah, it doesn't have a Core 2 Quad Extreme or 8 Gigs of RAM, but for the most part, I think Alienware should change price

asus is the only one that is decently reasonable, but when they begin to add features like alienware they get just as bad with the price tag, For the most half they do offer cheap gaming laptops, and usually always a good deal on parts and tower rigs

and when i meant they get pricey from top generation parts, i was speaking on behalf of the laptops. In the case with a tower, yah, there fucking drop dead lightning bolt pricey = P, thats what newegg was made for though. ^_^

Maximilianovor, you're wrong. The Clevo D900F which has the Core i7 processor only supports ONE GTX 280M, the M17x supports two. The Clevo that supports two 280Ms is an 18 incher and is actually thicker and heavier than this thing and around the same pricing.

actually the best gaming laptop is one built by yourself. IF your going to get a gaming pc a lot of say it's a better idea to buy the parts and put it together. If you don't know how to build your own pc people say u could pay someone to do it. IF I was 2 get a gaming pc I rather get the parts to build myself and save a little money probuly

And, they didn't have a link on the Alienware site that showed it's processing abilities like the m17 does. So, I showed this. I know it's going to be a little different, but oh well.
