Before I created this video in 1997 it was not part of the initiation ritual for new members of the Lemon-Monroe Marching band. As class president I decided that it would be made part of the ritual. I posted this to give pre 1997 marching band members and Monroe alumni the opportunity to see this footage and know what it was like for those of us who experienced it! How does this take away from the value? What was it worth when it was sitting in my closet until 1997?

I have mixed feelings. As a Monroe marching band alumni i am slightly upset to see such a private thing exposed to the entire world. Effectively taking away it's worth and value. But I am pleased that I have the ability to watch it whenever i like.
