I would have to say no. The paper quality and binding is poor for what you pay for. I guess it really depends on the function that it will serve...If for art, then I would say no. Writing with ballpoint, and rollerball pens...you could probably just get a regular notebook. Most of the brands you named in the video (especially the Rhodia Exacompta notebooks) would be better. Also, I've found that artist sketchbooks are great for writing and drawing. Go to an art supply store for options.
@84godd ya but believe it or not that pen was like all of my money and i didnt even spend full price. if yo watch my other videos then u will see that i always like the best but for the lowest reasonable price possible.
I think the reason people don't like your videos is, because you are all of 14-16 yrs old and you have all these nice things, but you come off a bit arrogant, and its kinda like your saying "look what i bought im so rich and elegant " When in reality it was your parent who bought that stuff. IDK because i dont know you, but thats my opinion.
TBH, I stocked up on a bunch of Moleskines and regret having done so. Only when I use Noodler's Bulletproof ink can I enjoy using them, but with other inks, they either leak through or leaf on the page. I'm not too crazy about the quality of the Moleskine books for fountain pens. I did find a very nice notebook at Staples though, believe it's an Ampad journal, but I can't quite remember. Great deal for the money, comes with like 200 lined pages too and a ribbon marker
I never tried Moleskine or Rhodia. I have a couple of Clairefontaine books, one letter size, one ~5 x 8 ". I use the latter all the time & like the paper & convenient size, but the binding has simply fallen off the book. I need to glue it back on - again. The larger has plain brown card covers. I've mostly just carried it around, but it's stood up well for the past 4yrs in my backpack & elsewhere. I also have a Miquelrius A4(?), lined & unlined, & like them as well. - a Spanish company.
@harderm123 : continued. ... The Moleskine seems to appeal to the artists among us, whereas the other notebooks I have are more for simply taking, well, notes. Other comments: I don't like the kind of graph paper that the 'better' books use. Too busy and distracting. The Rhodia dots look interesting; maybe more suitable for combined writing and precision drawing. And hey, lay off MrWhatsinyourpockets. We're all fetishists when it comes to stationery.
@kotapaka how do u know that i dont spend my own personal money that i have saved on my stuff. and for a matter of fact i do usally spend my money on most things that u see or here about in my videos.
moleskine paper may be one of the worst papers I know (especially for fountain pens). I really suggest going for rhodia or clairefontaine paper as this is some of the best paper out there.
