OK Silly people... settle down. The Portugal wave was bigger and colder. Parsons wave looks bigger because of the photo "perspective" A moving camera that is constantly closer to the base of the wave and taken from an above angle so yo never detect the bottom of the wave. It looks bigger, 77 feet is what it was officially measured at. Garretts 90 foot wave is quite a bit sicker if for no other reason than temp.

This is not a 77 foot wave. This is several years before his XXL biggest wave of 70+ feet. This is more like 65 feet and was at Jaws at the Tow Surfing championship. His 70+ foot wave was in January of 2008 at Cortez Bank and only had 3 photos and no video.
