I don't like this. Velmas meant to be really cool collected and sexy, this cellar a bit too geeky and stupid. Having said that I love ruthie as Roxie, so I guess shes just better suited to that role. Amazing legs tho :)
@calichoreo she can be a beautiful dancer when it calls for it but chicago isn't about pretty dancing - its about sex and showbiz...razzledazzle and all that jazz...

Well she played Velma on Broadway opposite Sandy Duncan in 1999. I believe this is her return to the London cast as Velma in 2003.

Yes. She played Roxie in 1997, and Velma in 2003. She also played Velma on Broadway in 1999.
