Great looking remake in the gameplay department... but what did they do to the soundtrack?!?!?! I mean, the tunes ain't too bad by themselves, they're upbeat, fun, and match the environments, but they just aren't the originals! And they lack the "it" factor those songs had. It's not even a comparison; they could remake the rest of the game, why not the epic soundtrack?

the remake for psp was pretty damn good. So the remake for that game i would say is up to par with the original just a little bit less.

I'm so happy.... because I don't bought this piece of crap!!!! Where's the original music? Even the original voices was epic... I'm glad I still have my SNES with the original game. Every time I put it in the console and the konami logo shows up with their characteristic music, it takes me to the amazing 90's... I miss that golden ages for games

It's strange. They're using foot soldiers and villains from the old 1987 TMNT cartoon, but it has the turtles and the visual style of the 2003 cartoon series.

Kinda reminds me of the Turtles Forever special.

@AlvinVG That's really good point. Inspired by the 80's cartoon, but uses the same voiceactors of the modern series. Who would have known? Not by me at the time...But then when I started watching modern series episodes here in Youtube, I instantly recognized the voices of the turtles.

Fuck this game. Fuck it with the biggest goddamned redwood tree you can find. There is absolutely no concievable reason to play this instead of the SNES original.

The graphics are shit, as compared to the cartoon-style of the original (and the new TMNT-movie is shit too, again as opposed to the brilliant original animated series).

The original Turtles in Time had some of the best video game music EVER. This... is AWFUL. WHAT THE HELL, MAN?!!!!!=123´2

Aaaaaand the gameplay is still average.

(One of the joys of games is that there are newbie accessible games in all genres, newbie button mashers (this), newbie RPGs (Legend of Heroes, Poke'mon series) and even newbie friendly puzzler/shooters (Luxor) and shooters... Yeah. There's a newbie friendly game out there in every genre, find and play them all if you're just getting started or need easy games.
