Why so much make-up on your face !! You look like a dick sucker with all that make-up. What is the point of covering your hair when you try to be sexually provocative with so much make-up ! Your lips are made for sucking dicks..no need to cover your hair..nobody fucks hair you know !!
@CutieHoney13 yes individuality is important but you do not express that through clothing that go against islamic teachings
please do not mix culture with islam because it becomes very dangerous, the two have nothing to do with each other Islam above culture always. Again hijab is not based on region or what is "normal here". follow Quran and Sunnah sufficient. be modest, abaya, pants (depending on scholar), shirt, skirt, dress does not matter. just be modest as prescribed in your seen.
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: The Prophet said, "Isn't the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?" The women said, "Yes." He said, "This is because of the deficiency of a woman's mind." - Sahih Bukhari Hadith, Vol. 3, Book 48, No. 826
"Narrated Aisha: that the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death)." - Sahih Bukhari Hadith, Vol. 7, Book 62, No. 64
For those discussing if this is right or wrong I wanna tell them that living in deffirent regions make things deffirent :-) , for example, in audi arabia or egypt, such a hijab would be totally unIslamic :-) , but in the US it defines a Muslim :-)
@IamMuhammad that doesn't mean its right... and its completely baseless! hijab is not based on where you live. Quran or Sunnah never said if you live here wear it this way...
@ali17396 yes but in general...different regions are going to have different things culturally...like how women in iraq and saudi arabia prefer to wear abayas that's a normal thing over there but in places like canada and the us wearing pants and blouses like any other girl is a normal thing over there. not every muslim woman wants to look the same...individuality is important as well you know.
I believe it's not haram to look pretty as long as your intention is not to attract boys but If you intention is to attract guys then that's not good.. So it's on intention.. If she wants to look pretty so she can be confident person then I don't blame her.. @yazthespaz you really cool so pls ignore haters.. I really like your tutorials keep it up.. I hope I didn't offend anyone.
To all of you ladies critisizing this sister's choice to style her hijab need to put on the brakes and stop judging her. In the first and true translation of the Quaran, it tells us to cover your bosom and not strike hard on the ground (so as not to jiggle the sweet stuff.) The KSA translation goes into the hair, up tp the hands, etc. The wives of the Prophet pbuh were told to cover so they could be differentiated between regular people and themselves as esteemed women. They were the only ones
@CouleursdePapillon the only ones who were instructed by Allah to do this. Look at the citations in your Quaran. Here's a tidbit of citation. Anything in PARENTHESES or BRACKETS is NOT a direct translation. If you dont believe me, ask your local scholar. If a sister chooses to wear a hijab, and emulate the wives of the Prophet, she may do as she wishes. You have no right to judge! Islam gave us women rights remember? You ladies are brainwashed. Stop listening to people and READ THE TEXT!!!
@samanthazori Hey Samantha, you made a very good statement! Chickas need to stop worrying about their outside beauty rather beautify what's IN you. That is what makes a women beautiful. Please learn to ignore Muslimah's like these and carry on practicing modesty from what we have learnt from the women of early times.
Hey, i really do love your hijab tutorials and im looking into wearing a hijab again. i used to wear one as a kid and then took it off. but i don't have your head shape. actually i have a bigger head and a stronger jaw. i don't want my head to look like a lollypop :( can you do a tutorial that isn't so tight and yet still covers.
i love your hijab styles i know people have their own opinion on the different hijabstyles. if thats the case where we cant look good we shouldnt wer make up we shouldnt wear nice hijabs. and if these different styles are going to persuade young girls to wear hijab where is the harm in that. anyway mashallah you are soo pretty yaz
@The ZizaPizza. One of the criteria for wearing the hijab is that it is not to attract attention.Especially that of the opposite sex.So if your wearing clothes and/or a headscarf that may cause people to stare, whether in awe or confusion or whatever, then it's best not to wear it outside of your house.Maybe reserve it for party wear. And I'm not talking about the looks we hijabis get for simply wearing the hijab.
@samanthazori I'm a Muslim and I 100% agree.I just don't do it.The words "in style" have crept into our vocabulary.I just don't buy into it.Allaah has told us what to wear and how it's to be worn. And that's what I follow.
what is wrong with wanting to be a little creative? a liittle beautiful? It is in a ladies nature to want to look beautiful! it all comes down to your intention. you wanna look good look good for your family or your husband. not for the boys outside. and you are a much more confident and beautiful person if you feel beautiful by dressing the way you think is modestly beautiful. yaz im ur no1 fan dont let anyone bring you down cuz id hate to see you not make anymore videos. lotsa love
gosh people can be so mean and demotivating its just so sad :( you all are fighting about how if you wear your hijab in a beauftiul way then it ruins the motive?the motive to look modest? i mean look at her, her hijab covers most of her skin! doesnt that make her modest?anyone who looks at her will Respect her. no boys will look at her with a bad intention. and That is the objective of hijab. God asked us to do it to save ourselves and it works for me no matter how i wear my hijab Elhemdulilah.
Hey hun! I loved your glasses in the picture and your lip color...can you please share the brand of the glasses and the name of product(s) you used on your lips? because I can never work out glasses with my hijabs, and your glasses looke great!
To be honest... muslims are always saying hijab is to cover your beauty, its a sign of modesty. Whats the point of having all these styles? And giving the "hair" effect? I mean why have styles going-which im sure stand out-when your intent is to cover your modesty and not attract the opposite gender? I don't have anything against the hijab... in fact i'm looking into Islam myself, I just find it odd that you cover up... and at the same time you style your hijab in ways to look pretty...
@samanthazori I am Muslim and I do not understand why people think that Modest and Beautiful are two separate ideas. To be modest is to be beautiful. Why are so many Muslims brainwashed to think that wearing a hijab has to be ugly? Who is telling you this? Allah tells us to look our best. We like to be stylish. If you choose not to be that's ok, but Hijabis are beautiful and so are you. When we wear hijab and make it beautiful we are doing it for ourselves. Being a woman is beautiful in itself.
@CouleursdePapillon I understand where you're coming from... but as I understand, the hijab should be simple, enough to cover the hair. It shouldn't look like hair ya know? Simplicity doesn't have to be ugly. When I read about the apparel of the women in the prophet's time, I find it very contradicting to these videos. Looking at it logically doesn't make sense either... hide your beauty...but do it in a way so you look beautiful? Doesn't that sort of defeat the purpose?
@samanthazori You have a legitimate question. I think the thing to understand is that just because you cover yourself, it's not to say you don't care about what you look like.
@samanthazori I wear the hijab and I understand what you mean, but honestly, we all want to make ourselves look nice to make ourselves happy, not to attract the oppsite sex. So yea..its just for our own pleasure really.
@samanthazori i never thought about it that way, but very true!!! i would also like to get an answer to that question. and i really genuinely mean that. no hate or rudeness. just honest question
@samanthazori just because you cover up doesnt mean u have to look ugly n messy so no one looks at you in fact a muslim has to look clean presentable and smell fresh too!!! because allah is beautiful and he loves beauty. i dont know about you but i live in a western country and i see the looks people give to ladies with a messy hijab however whenyour wearing it in a presentable way people always complemet you hijab :)
@samanthazori you are absolutely right, show your hair why achieve an effect? i mean no disrespect to yazthespaz but thats not the way Islam works. also girls mentioning nothing wrong with looking good for home/husband..this is a youtube video. contradiction. you don't have to look ugly in hijab but there are limits cause first and foremost you're a Muslim, and going out all done up to the max will attract attention even with a head scarf on. creates fitnah for brothers.
@ali17396 Sorry Ali, but brothers create fitnah for themselves. Women are not responsible for this. A real, strong man can stand in a room full of beautiful women and keep his mind on his wife alone, and heep his heart safe in the eyes of Allah. No excuses.
@CouleursdePapillon Women who do not observe proper hijab do create fitnah sister. And if not for the Muslim bothers, then think about the non Muslim men. Like i said you don need to look ugly in hijab but there are limits (make up, whats showing, tightness, social behaviour). if someone is trying to create a hair effect with the hijab .. i think that's pushing it.
ps ali implies i am a male, im a female ali is not my name lol just felt the need to clear that.
@ali17396 Thanks for the clarification sister. You are still wrong. Your whole point of view is from the KSA translation of the Quaran, not the first translation. Read my comments about citation. People claim the Quaran has not been changed, this is true, but things have been added. Anything in brackets is not the original text, but an INTERPRETATION of it. This interperetation has been used to direct women in the wearing of the hijab in that area and other places copy it without question.
@CouleursdePapillon Salaam Alaikum. I did read your previous comment however what i got from it (and please do correct me if I'm wrong) is that hijab (covering hair and so on) is not mandatory? it is optional? it was only for the wives of the Prophet (pbuh) ?
i mean no offence, but i find that absurd. and if i understood you wrong then i apologize. otherwise not much else i can say. hijab is a command and in every faith you see women's hair is covered by those who practise.
@CouleursdePapillon Also im not familiar with KSA translation? but i have read the Qur'an in Arabic and my own language (fluent in both) neither of which has parenthesis. In English i have read the Yusuf Ali translation with commentary, but none have led to me believe that covering the hair/arms applied only to the wives of the Prophet (saws)
@ali17396@ali17396 Hi Ali, I have a link where you can see for yourself. This person has done the same research as I and has compiled it nicely for you to. By the way, this is from the translation you supposedly read, so you can read it yourself since it is readily available. I think you need to be careful of accusing me of saying absurd things before you actually do some research.
@CouleursdePapillon All that video did was further re-enforce (for me personally) that hijab is mandatory. the video is very weak. the Quran is for EVERYONE at EVERYTIME it also refers to the believing women, there are numerous sahih hadith on hijab clear enough. The translation i have read doesn't matter much was simply for a class, i most importantly said i have read it in Arabic and mentioned fluent.
@CouleursdePapillon you said ask your local scholar. i have never heard of a scholar who says hijab is optional. could you please name me one?
one explanation i have heard was that pre islam women already wore head veil, they were now commanded to draw it forward over their bosoms. the word khumur is used in Quran. the wives of the prophet are to be recognized apart from the women of jahiliya, as should sisters be recognized apart from kufar
@samanthazori Well i dont think guys are gonna look at girls with stylish hijaabs like they look at girls with mini skirts and and tops. You can be modest but still be pretty.
@samanthazori omg perfect answer i dont see why muslima women are wear humps things to look like a camel stagfrallah, yes hijab is to cover up there beauty and be modest however like not in the way to make you look like a monster i mean its okay if your mixing in two hijabs or a simple style not a massive big flower on the head but covering the parts that are supposed to be covered i believe thats ok
@samanthazori But who wants to wear a hijab and look like a bum?! Hijab is a basic thing to cover, and we took it to the next level by customizing our looks. There is nothing or someone that say we can't do this. And also we like these styles, and if we show who we are through them than that's good for us. It's not just to "look good", it's to show our interest and style in things.
@ayeeitshadil hijab is not a basic thing to cover way to undermine something so important in our deen. if a sister doesn't wear make up and wears loose clothing now she looks like a bum? be careful what you say. there are other ways to show your interest in style, and most importantly you don't need to show the world those interests, especially if it involves going against what your prophet (saws) prescribed for you.
nothing wrong with what yaz does, but there are LIMITS!!!
@ali17396 I know it is a big part of our deen, I actually started wearing it when I was 7 years old. And through out my whole life I've learned about how important it is, and I go to the Mosque every Muharram and listen to the lectures&all that. I am actually not a sunni, I am part of the Shia and we are most into the hijab and the deen and we are really strict about what we wear, how we talk, and the respect taken & given. I don't wear tight clothing or makeup, but I do try to look decent.
@ali17396 I actually do have a lot of interest in style and all that, but I always remember my deen when I'm out shopping because I know how important it is to cover. I don't have anything of my interests that the Prophet (SAWW) wouldn't accept. And I know, I show my style in so many ways but still in an acceptable matter. And yeah, she needs to be careful of the limits but shes doing good so far. Mashallah, I'm glad there are Muslims out there that still care about the hijab and deen like I do.
@ayeeitshadil First mashAllah i too am follower of Ahlul Bayt (as) and second if what you said is what you practise then nothing i said applies to you. i just don't think we should be calling sisters bums because they choose not to wear make up or style their hijabs, or wear black clothes etc.
Always remember what happened to Bibi Zainab in Kufa and what the veil meant to her.
@ali17396 Alhumdillilah, inshallah the Shia will grow and currently are. <3 And yes you're right but I didn't mean it that way, I mean every girl/women wants to look good in a way to at least be able to look at themselves and be happy. And of course, I always do remember her, and her family and fathers and the whole family (SAWS) Thanks for your time.
"..you drive the daughters of the Messenger of Allah as captives with their veils removed and faces exposed, taken by their enemies from one land to another, being viewed by those at watering places as well as those who man your forts, with their faces exposed to the looks of everyone near or distant, lowly or honourable, having none of their men with them nor any of their protectors?" Speech of Bibi Zainab (as)
@samanthazori your so true, the "hair effect and the diff styles" all defiy the purpose of the hijab which is just a piece of cloth that is there to cover your beauty (hair, neck etc..) that is why many women do not use the hair effect and such because it attracts more attention which is not what we want. However there are always those that care more about apperance than faith...
@samanthazori okay u know what, i completly understand what your saying. actually your not supposed to do that huge hair bump thing in the back, or wear makeup or show ur earings or your neck. the thing is "to wear hijab" isnt to only wear hijab, its when you cover up, and the only skin you show is your face, hands and parts of your feet. even the heel of your toe isnt supposed to show. no tight clothes, your shirt has to reach below your butt etc. ....
some people bend the rules or just plain dont follow them. but im not gunna say its wrong or Haram to style your hijab to make it look pretty and unique. cuz you do it for you not to attract men i dont think. another thing, hijabis can still be models and look beautiful. just look up Rabia Z. shes inspiring. she has beautifuly desighned clothes 4 hijabis. just because you wear hijab doesnt mean you cant be a hijabi model or "fashinista". another thing, the diff. that will always...
@samanthazori the big diffrence also remains with clothing choices, like hijabis cant wear short shorts, tights, skinny jeans, strapless tops, t-shirts, short sleave tops or short dresses without pants under and fling their junk around at men. they dont wear tight clothes that outline their curves and physical beauties and yes that includes make-up. they can still be "modestly beautiful" i guess you could call it. by wearing nice hijabi clothes. do kind of get what im saying?
@samanthazori so anyways dont judge hijabis and the concept of hijab on some hijabis that film themselves with makeup and sometimes their neck showing and post them on youtube, cuz thoes arent the ones you should be observing to learn from or whatever. if you know what i mean. so brother, insha'allah, i havent bored you with my rammbling and one day i can call you my brother of islam. Peace and allah be with you <3
@samanthazori I agree on the fact that you shouldn't "over beautify" the hijab. As muslim women we also try to not over do ourselves when it comes to the way we dress, act, etc. BUT there is definitely nothing against looking "pretty" LOL. You should always look presentable. I believe that there is nothing wrong or unIslamic with being stylish... it is just how we express ourselves.
i showed my mom the basic double wrap and now she does it everyday. plus i am going to start wearing a hajab in high school so could you make some SUPER basic scarf totarial that i can make really easily

@samanthazori I wear the hijab and I understand what you mean, but honestly, we all want to make ourselves look nice to make ourselves happy, not to attract the oppsite sex. So yea..its just for our own pleasure really.
AyshaLovee 2 months ago
@samanthazori i never thought about it that way, but very true!!! i would also like to get an answer to that question. and i really genuinely mean that. no hate or rudeness. just honest question
sarahr2486 2 months ago
@samanthazori just because you cover up doesnt mean u have to look ugly n messy so no one looks at you in fact a muslim has to look clean presentable and smell fresh too!!! because allah is beautiful and he loves beauty. i dont know about you but i live in a western country and i see the looks people give to ladies with a messy hijab however whenyour wearing it in a presentable way people always complemet you hijab :)

@samanthazori you are absolutely right, show your hair why achieve an effect? i mean no disrespect to yazthespaz but thats not the way Islam works. also girls mentioning nothing wrong with looking good for home/husband..this is a youtube video. contradiction. you don't have to look ugly in hijab but there are limits cause first and foremost you're a Muslim, and going out all done up to the max will attract attention even with a head scarf on. creates fitnah for brothers.
ali17396 2 months ago 2
@ali17396 Sorry Ali, but brothers create fitnah for themselves. Women are not responsible for this. A real, strong man can stand in a room full of beautiful women and keep his mind on his wife alone, and heep his heart safe in the eyes of Allah. No excuses.
CouleursdePapillon 1 month ago
@CouleursdePapillon Women who do not observe proper hijab do create fitnah sister. And if not for the Muslim bothers, then think about the non Muslim men. Like i said you don need to look ugly in hijab but there are limits (make up, whats showing, tightness, social behaviour). if someone is trying to create a hair effect with the hijab .. i think that's pushing it.
ps ali implies i am a male, im a female ali is not my name lol just felt the need to clear that.
ali17396 1 month ago
@ali17396 Thanks for the clarification sister. You are still wrong. Your whole point of view is from the KSA translation of the Quaran, not the first translation. Read my comments about citation. People claim the Quaran has not been changed, this is true, but things have been added. Anything in brackets is not the original text, but an INTERPRETATION of it. This interperetation has been used to direct women in the wearing of the hijab in that area and other places copy it without question.
CouleursdePapillon 1 month ago
@CouleursdePapillon Salaam Alaikum. I did read your previous comment however what i got from it (and please do correct me if I'm wrong) is that hijab (covering hair and so on) is not mandatory? it is optional? it was only for the wives of the Prophet (pbuh) ?
i mean no offence, but i find that absurd. and if i understood you wrong then i apologize. otherwise not much else i can say. hijab is a command and in every faith you see women's hair is covered by those who practise.
ali17396 1 month ago
@CouleursdePapillon Also im not familiar with KSA translation? but i have read the Qur'an in Arabic and my own language (fluent in both) neither of which has parenthesis. In English i have read the Yusuf Ali translation with commentary, but none have led to me believe that covering the hair/arms applied only to the wives of the Prophet (saws)

@ali17396 @ali17396 Hi Ali, I have a link where you can see for yourself. This person has done the same research as I and has compiled it nicely for you to. By the way, this is from the translation you supposedly read, so you can read it yourself since it is readily available. I think you need to be careful of accusing me of saying absurd things before you actually do some research.

Hijab: Hijab Not Islamic but Cultural - Part 1- Thanks and pleadse let me know what think. Dont forget to look up the chapters as a reference.
CouleursdePapillon 1 month ago
@CouleursdePapillon All that video did was further re-enforce (for me personally) that hijab is mandatory. the video is very weak. the Quran is for EVERYONE at EVERYTIME it also refers to the believing women, there are numerous sahih hadith on hijab clear enough. The translation i have read doesn't matter much was simply for a class, i most importantly said i have read it in Arabic and mentioned fluent.
ali17396 1 month ago
@CouleursdePapillon you said ask your local scholar. i have never heard of a scholar who says hijab is optional. could you please name me one?
one explanation i have heard was that pre islam women already wore head veil, they were now commanded to draw it forward over their bosoms. the word khumur is used in Quran. the wives of the prophet are to be recognized apart from the women of jahiliya, as should sisters be recognized apart from kufar
But anyway Allahu Alim, to each their own.

@samanthazori Well i dont think guys are gonna look at girls with stylish hijaabs like they look at girls with mini skirts and and tops. You can be modest but still be pretty.
#Just sayin.
Abesmuk 1 month ago
@samanthazori omg perfect answer i dont see why muslima women are wear humps things to look like a camel stagfrallah, yes hijab is to cover up there beauty and be modest however like not in the way to make you look like a monster i mean its okay if your mixing in two hijabs or a simple style not a massive big flower on the head but covering the parts that are supposed to be covered i believe thats ok

@samanthazori i wear a hijab and a muslimah alhamduliillah :)

@samanthazori But who wants to wear a hijab and look like a bum?! Hijab is a basic thing to cover, and we took it to the next level by customizing our looks. There is nothing or someone that say we can't do this. And also we like these styles, and if we show who we are through them than that's good for us. It's not just to "look good", it's to show our interest and style in things.
ayeeitshadil 1 month ago
@ayeeitshadil hijab is not a basic thing to cover way to undermine something so important in our deen. if a sister doesn't wear make up and wears loose clothing now she looks like a bum? be careful what you say. there are other ways to show your interest in style, and most importantly you don't need to show the world those interests, especially if it involves going against what your prophet (saws) prescribed for you.
nothing wrong with what yaz does, but there are LIMITS!!!
ali17396 1 month ago
@ali17396 I know it is a big part of our deen, I actually started wearing it when I was 7 years old. And through out my whole life I've learned about how important it is, and I go to the Mosque every Muharram and listen to the lectures&all that. I am actually not a sunni, I am part of the Shia and we are most into the hijab and the deen and we are really strict about what we wear, how we talk, and the respect taken & given. I don't wear tight clothing or makeup, but I do try to look decent.
ayeeitshadil 1 month ago

Always remember what happened to Bibi Zainab in Kufa and what the veil meant to her.
ali17396 1 month ago
@ali17396 Alhumdillilah, inshallah the Shia will grow and currently are. <3 And yes you're right but I didn't mean it that way, I mean every girl/women wants to look good in a way to at least be able to look at themselves and be happy. And of course, I always do remember her, and her family and fathers and the whole family (SAWS) Thanks for your time.

"..you drive the daughters of the Messenger of Allah as captives with their veils removed and faces exposed, taken by their enemies from one land to another, being viewed by those at watering places as well as those who man your forts, with their faces exposed to the looks of everyone near or distant, lowly or honourable, having none of their men with them nor any of their protectors?" Speech of Bibi Zainab (as)
ali17396 1 month ago
@samanthazori your so true, the "hair effect and the diff styles" all defiy the purpose of the hijab which is just a piece of cloth that is there to cover your beauty (hair, neck etc..) that is why many women do not use the hair effect and such because it attracts more attention which is not what we want. However there are always those that care more about apperance than faith...
ronyrania24 1 month ago
@samanthazori okay u know what, i completly understand what your saying. actually your not supposed to do that huge hair bump thing in the back, or wear makeup or show ur earings or your neck. the thing is "to wear hijab" isnt to only wear hijab, its when you cover up, and the only skin you show is your face, hands and parts of your feet. even the heel of your toe isnt supposed to show. no tight clothes, your shirt has to reach below your butt etc. ....
arabmuslimpower 1 month ago
some people bend the rules or just plain dont follow them. but im not gunna say its wrong or Haram to style your hijab to make it look pretty and unique. cuz you do it for you not to attract men i dont think. another thing, hijabis can still be models and look beautiful. just look up Rabia Z. shes inspiring. she has beautifuly desighned clothes 4 hijabis. just because you wear hijab doesnt mean you cant be a hijabi model or "fashinista". another thing, the diff. that will always...
arabmuslimpower 1 month ago
@samanthazori the big diffrence also remains with clothing choices, like hijabis cant wear short shorts, tights, skinny jeans, strapless tops, t-shirts, short sleave tops or short dresses without pants under and fling their junk around at men. they dont wear tight clothes that outline their curves and physical beauties and yes that includes make-up. they can still be "modestly beautiful" i guess you could call it. by wearing nice hijabi clothes. do kind of get what im saying?
arabmuslimpower 1 month ago
@samanthazori so anyways dont judge hijabis and the concept of hijab on some hijabis that film themselves with makeup and sometimes their neck showing and post them on youtube, cuz thoes arent the ones you should be observing to learn from or whatever. if you know what i mean. so brother, insha'allah, i havent bored you with my rammbling and one day i can call you my brother of islam. Peace and allah be with you <3
arabmuslimpower 1 month ago
@samanthazori I agree on the fact that you shouldn't "over beautify" the hijab. As muslim women we also try to not over do ourselves when it comes to the way we dress, act, etc. BUT there is definitely nothing against looking "pretty" LOL. You should always look presentable. I believe that there is nothing wrong or unIslamic with being stylish... it is just how we express ourselves.
