Well... I think we all will find out soon enough. But if you do want spoilers - than, yes, Stefano hired Anna before she arrived! He was the one who looked her up and brought her back to Salem. Plus, if I'm not mistaken - all the story of her "tough" life on the boat will turn out to be a lie! She had a wonderful life there and lived with a lover!

You guys won't believe it - but Dr. Stone was an actual therapist in real life!! Her name is Dr. Toni Grant and she's familiar because she had a radio show where she talked with listeners and gave them guidance (anyone said Dr. Marlena Evans??) !!!!

Dr. Toni Grant was a VERY big deal in local Los Angeles AM radio at the time...

She was the major precursor to today's "Dr. Laura" and very similar but a bit more liberal, as I recall. This was like having an outside celebrity on DOOL back then. If Dr. Laura copied Toni Grant, I bet Toni Grant copied Helen Gurley Brown... same mold, same type of women's shrink.

Ok, so Dr. Stone wasn't the best actress, but she was still pretty cool!

I think this is right around the time we discover that Anna is in cahoots with Stefano - that she lied about the white slavery thing, and that she can hypnotize Carrie into acting crazy!
