@valkyriexes well Nourma actually says to forget about versus for a bit because he is going to take his sweet time and try and make it something amazing. Hence why 13-2 is coming out first and final fantasy type 0 since they are more or less there to hold us over till he is done with versus. So it isn't forgotten just they seem to be putting a lot of development time on it.

@ZegetaX1 go to a save point. Instead of saving select upgrade. Select whether you want to upgrade an accessory or a weapon then select the item you want to upgrade. Select items to use to upgrade the item, each item gives a different amount of XP, each item gives a different number of XP based on what item you're upgrading, upgrade items enough and you'll reach the max level which is a star for that item - worth doing that instead of selling items to the shop as it's the only way to upgrade.

A game sucks to a person when the persons unable to adapt with the game. People who play final fantasy is usually people who like turn based strategy games, however the game is very hard to get used to if you only play FPS or real time based play because the game play is very slow and long. You can't judge anyone since I bet even you think some games suck when some others think they are good.

final fantasy 7, 8 and 10 are the best final fantasy games at the moment. Those titles made history and appealed more to the media. But we have Final Fantasy 13 which was a great game also breaking records. Final Fantasy versus 13 hype is projecting it to be the biggest, most dramatic and best FF of them all. The long wait for a game in mystery and the darker theme is just the footing FF needs to change. If this game gets the M rating like a lot of sources are claiming then it will be the best.

My opinion FFXIII was best, next in line FFX. I like the linearity of 13, didn't have to search for a guide book, then later in the game, about 25 hours, the game opens up to unleash 50 more hours of gameplay to complete *Side missions, stuff like that included*. FFX sorta got boring after a while because the story sorta fades when you have to level grind, very frequently at that.

@YourEvilDarkn That's laziness. FFXIII is essentially just a 20 hour-long movie punctuated by pointlessly long corridors and floating orbs. The story is rubbish, the characters, especially Hope are nauseatingly histrionic and generic, the villains have about as much personality as a wet goldfish, there's no diversity to the gameplay; it's just walk down a corridor, beat up a monster, walk down a corridor, beat up a monster, watch a pointless cut-scene, rinse and repeat for 25 mind-numbing hours.

ff7 ,ff8 and even ff9 were the best in the series i reckon, tha storys were amazing, the characters were orgasmic and the weapons were awesome xD, but when ffx came out on ps2..the graphics were great but the game wasn't long enuff and the story sucked along with the weapons =/ and summons. ffXII was shit as well, it seems they are trying to make the characters more realistic, fuck that! bring the big ass swords and summons bak!! cloud,squall and sephiroth pawn all xDD

I know people are gunna hate, but FFX sucked. Every ff game after 9 did, although to ME 8 is the best. 8 started the whole "love" transition in final fantasy, every other game just followed that. FFX was only granted as great because it was the first to go next gen, so it ofc looked WAY better than the PS ones. However, if you actually play them for their gameplay and story, you'll find the earlier Final Fantasys to be unrivaled. FF8 is one you should definitely look into.

@Ogzltheeve Final Fantasy Versus XIII is a wholly independent game exclusive for the PS3. It's set in the same universe as FF XIII, but the story and characters are completely different (the main character being Noctis, that guy dressed in black you probably see all the time). The gameplay itself will also be different, as it's supposed to be similar to Kingdom Hearts. Why it's called Versus I don't know either. x)
