  • What the hell is that thing? I love it. Who made and where do you get one. that is dope.

..i think its discraceful how the dj became disconnected from hip hop & turntablism had to evolve to rectify it.

can you imagine rock music without a guitar ?

you hardly hear scratching in hip hop unless its really underground, outside of usa or premier or pete rock are involved.

    good luck with your product.

  • The product reminds me of the dj in

tone locs - wild thing ...video.. your on the right wavelength for liberating djs from flat surfaces

But I think a credible standalone wireless rechargeable 9 " vinyl based dj controller with iphone style audio & menu would be more simplistic & offer more musicial potential. Allowing djs the freedom of movement & unlimited media sources to manipulate.

  • - Yep..Tone Loc video, except that we all know that a vertical position doesn't work well ... (QFO anyone ?) We need a slight angle, a volume, a drum !

    - 9 inchs vinyl is a nice idea, you have a vinyl cutter at home ? Instead, I prefer to be compatible with the existing world.

    - Scratchophone is compatible with Digital Vinyl Systems (SSL, traktor, cross, etc.) and of course you can plug in your mp3 player in the 2nd channel of the inside mixer. ( mike , headphone , main out etc.)

  • Dont misinterpret... its not a criticism

im a dj ,bassist & drummer with an electronics background & ive modded stuff to achieve a similar task .I like your product. i just think that a tactile standalone unit with option to control a base station using wireless midi or usb is more ideal in todays climate .

eg .you could trigger samples, filter & mix sounds & video as well as scratch. Djs could also perform in many more genres because rap neglected the dj since the D.A.T machine.

  • i subscribe to ya :)

  • that's so much better than a QFO!!

  • éxellent ! :)

  • MY KIND OF INSTRUMENT

  • slick

  • Man, it would be a trip seeing that at a marching band.

  • good job!!! nice chirp!!!....like the qfo!!

  • Genius!!!! That is truely next level bro. Someone's bound to approach you about it sooner rather than later. And with ipod hook up it makes it damn near complete.

  • that's da shit!! big ups!!!

  • need to dampen that fader (click click)brutal

  • True, but if you've got music turned up loud, I doubt you'll be hearing that little clicking....

  • Yeah, but the scratch o phone has an own speaker! This is the concept by a 'scratch o phone'! I agree with kingu2! But nonetheless very impressive!

  • Belle démo de Scratch o phone

Ils devrai insonoriser un peu leur palette "switch"

  • thats genius. great job man!

  • Cool man! really!

  • Damn... this... damn. Nice stuff man.

  • con comme un citron...

  • This instrument is very very sick shit. Good job

  • excellent ! Next video will show you the vinyl to digital compatibility, with final scratch for instance ... stay tuned ! thanks again !!

  • that is fuckin dope

  • omg u made this! nice

    5

  • You are a genius!

  • that's cool.

  • fixed position.. no more LPs playing: skip proof scratch records only.

  • Don't you get tired to scratch in that position? :D

    Nice idea.... :D

  • Great design! Does the tome arm track continuously or is it in a fixed position?

  • Thanks ! the tonearm is a tangential micro tonearm "a coulisse" : you put where you want and it just sticks there :)) Have to look to scratchophone dot com for closer pics.

  • Hey man. Having seen this in a while. Just saw your link on skratchlounge....it's looking pretty damn good now... What stops the tone arm skipping outa interest?

    Peace.
