I still remember that turning the radio on during the 70s and 80s meant listening to 2 or 3 new great songs every single day. How proud we are of being there to listen to all of this awesome music. Who the hell invented rap, hip hop, reggaeton, bachatas, electronic. they will sure go to hell for killing the music
JAY GRAYDON played programmed synths for David Foster on that album and also played guitar on HOW YOU GONNA SEE ME NOW, apparently credited as the guest player - Jay "Wah Wah" Graydon.
@gethsenamane The only problem with this is that Alice, a Rock and Roll star, can put religion in his music. Not all the time, but it's definitely there in at least 3 of his albums. In W2MN, the story involves sleeping with PART of a zombie, but it's just a song. It's written for a character in the same way that I Love The Dead is. It's just words. A story. I'm not a Christian, but you can't exactly tell people to keep religion out of rock when Alice puts religion in rock.
I love how this goes out to his wife when he went through a period of alcohol abuse. The part that's more amazing is how his wife stuck with him and supported him through the thick and thin, and now look how much better he's doing. Thats love, man! Oh and golf too lol
@SherrifOfNothingham Translating to portuguese: Que album impressionante. Um grande tributo a sua esposa que ficou ao seu lado durante sua batalha com seus demonios. Todo homem devia ser tão sortudo.
@SherrifOfNothingham Unfortunately, his dmeons came right back after he recorded this album and he doesn't even remember the last 2 albums he recorded (Zipper Catches Skin & DaDa)before finally getting sober for the last time.
The FACT about cooper is that he's such a good singer..pretty underated imo...he does ballads as good as anyone. This does remind me of early Toto and Elton John..damn awesome never the less.
@MetalMachineManiac Don't forget his writing ability. He says the ultimate compliment he ever got was when Frank Sinatra did a cover of one of his songs and he said "You keep writing them and I'll keep singing them, kid".
You have to be good to last six decades and counting in music.

@wolfysh Actually, wolfysh, Bernie Taupin (yes, the same Bernie Taupin that has collaborated with Elton John all these years) wrote most of the lyrics for this album.
I'm 41, so I'm somewhere....this album hit me hard when it came out. Years go by and I realize what amazing artistry it contains. Alice seems pretty cool, maybe I'll meet him someday. This album is so good. A bland comment, it's late. (*)
@purselady2 I'm so jealous. People at my school listen to rap and techno or even worse, bands that call themselves rock and metal but just aren't. I would fit into the 70's or 80's much better where I wouldn't be the lone weirdo coming to school in an Alice Cooper or W.A.S.P. t-shirt :(
Alice is SOOOOOO deserving of FINALLY being inducted into the hall of fame. Good GOD you folks... His artistry, though truthfully beginning as a show, is beyond his faith. Who cares, really? The man is GREAT! Alice or Vince beside the fact.
dave and any other christians that like to pick apart other people: fyi alice is not only the son of a preacher but he DID turn his life around much thanks to his beautiful and loving wife and he's very much in a relationship with god and also has a wonderful program geared towards youth after school to keep them involved in productive activities rather than destructive. you so called christians are gonna get a blast when you meet your maker - stop picking other people apart and focus on you!
thanks - we can all have our beliefs - it's just not right when beliefs are touted as fact - ruins a lot of people and is the cause for a lot of unrest in the world. peace ...

how a person can take a sign off, the word peace, and turn it into a dissection of my own personal spirituality is truly mind boggling. i see the news - there are these things called WARS going on - gee, i didn't make it up - what planet you from? no don't answer - you remind me of a heaven's gate weirdo. and as for the crime going on in cities and towns, it's a fact - if you don't live in a cave or in a commune, you'll know this. don't pray for me, keep your prayers to yourself thanks.
