It's not really even lingo. IIRC, that stupid term ("pwned" or "p*wned," take your pick) came about from a simple typo. It was supposed to be "owned," but some adolescent computer gamer geek typed it wrong, & then more geeks decided it was funny *rolls eyes* and started using it en masse. It's about one rung above ebonics on the linguistic ladder.
As I'm sure you know, the term "owned" just means someone got the better of someone else. Not a big deal, but it's hardly clever.
@toadman842 Basically kinda like when people see's someone get taken advantage of and there's nothing they can really do about it, while at the same time feeling helpless and/or sad. in this case the teacher insulted him after he spoke, took his pizza, gave it to the other students, and ate a piece himself, all while right in front of him. there was nothing Spicoli could do but just sit there and take it. he looked and felt helpless. that's the best way i can explain the meaning of "owned" xD...
