Its alright if its for self-defense purposes as long as you can throw the opponent even if you are stepping on his right foot. It may be a little harder to throw the opponent because your weight is on his right foot. But if you are doing it in the tournament, you may not score a ippon

I like to step to the rigt of the ukes right foot. Is that bad?
