I remember in 1991 when the Caustic Grip tour came to Toronto, FLA refused to play the gig because my band MALHAVOC was on the bill. Turns out Bill Leeb didn't wanna play on a bill with any "rock bands". LOL. It's safe to say i wasn't a fan of FLA anymore and i had a real good laugh when i heard his next record had plenty of metal guitar sounds. I guess Bill changed his mind about "rock bands" after the success of NIN and Ministry.
@JimiLaMort Bill seems like a strange guy. I once knew a guy who said he was a roadie on an FLA tour (couldn't verify it, he might've been lying) and Bill would basically go off ranting for 10 minutes if you mentioned Trent Reznor around him.
@JimiLaMort True, those bands' success definitely had an impact on FLA but then again it was common practice for former EBM bands to use guitars back then.Even Nitzer Ebb did so.Last but not least let's not forget Fulber's influence either. He was always a huge metal fan.I saw him once wearing a Grave t-shirt!
good god the drummer sucks!

Awesome, they're headbanging like a metal band. Cool how Devin Townsend played guitar on the album, and Jed Simon is playing this gig.
