EMX sending MIDI CLOCK/START/STOP. I made Sync circuit for Bliptronic thats sending start plus to Bliptronic. Check my another movie.

I'm guessing then that this would work with any MIDI synth, not just an EMX-1...although, admitted, I have a ER-1 and a EA-1...which I wouldn't mind hooking up like you have it here.
