Well, thats where the magic is at! Anyone of us can assemble the hardware for the turret, and write the code. HOWEVER, No where near as smooth, or nearly as quick as this guy have been able to get it, The kicker is that if you are interested he sells kits and he may still have a previous model for sell.

Now, the only thing that's left is to fit these onto a suburban home and add an external speaker so whoever is being targeted can actually be taunted directly by the turret software. I can pretty much promise that after the first guy stepped on your property, word of mouth alone would travel fast enough to guarantee nobody else does. I can see the infomercials now...

That would be good, maybe some sort of image recognition software (to stop the turret tagging the mailman, a passing mom and baby or cars driving by). Programmed times for "free fire" (after midnight to 4am when break-ins usually take place) and "safe mode" (during the day, only fires on fast moving AND approaching human sized targets) would also be good. IFF would also be an option, although way more expensive and impractical for obvious reasons.
