@Optimusnorm Maybe western hemisphere but not eastern. In Russia and Eastern Europe no one sets boundaries for no one about what they wear. Women wear sheer hosiery with sandals or whatever they want and they look great and no one says what they can or can't. The only place I hear sheer hosiery not this or not that is America. You don't need these rules. Freedom is what you need. Women need to look great and men need to be happy not put on the uniform and fight out of frustration.
Man, I just love a sight like that at the grocery store! Too few women wear ph anymore. There's just nothing sexier than toes covered in sheer nylon, IMO!

It's a very different culture. In the former Soviet countries and some places in Asia women wear hosiery as often as men wear underwear. It's not the when or anymore. It's the where.
@clogspantyhose Good point. But since I live in the US I suppose Iwas meaning just that. I've heard that eastern European women wore hose regularly, but I've never had the chance to visit. They also smoke moreso than US women, which is another thing I'm into. I just remember as a kid growing up in the 60s and 70s when ph were a regular item, and the only time most women went barelegged was at the beach or at home.
