@Nekronn Eastern rosella's are not known to be big talker's, they will how ever mimic tunes whistled to them. I had a 6 year old male that was hand reared from before he was ready to fledge, he did learn to say "What are you doing" derived from his curiosity of watching every move you made whilst near his cage and "crazy bird" which was said to him as he would often hang upside down on his perch twisting his head around flapping his wings. Other attempts to teach phrases failed

I myself have two Rosella's only since thursday. They love this video! They start to talk a lot when I put it on.

They don't like it very much here yet. Maybe if my PC talks at them it will be better...

our Rosella Batman ( my 3 year old son named him) is a rescue who had his tail end eaten off. He cant fly but he loves listening to your birds chatter.

I have also one Rosellia his name is Winston and not tamed yet at all. When I play your vide with sound he's going all crazy and trying to communicate with yours haha.. I keep him open for the most of the day on the huge attic where is my comp as well. When he hears it he flyes like a tornado!!! :D

actually i have now started whistling to it a lot, and just talking to it and it seems to like me more

When i then let it fly it always flys above my head, but im to scared to let it land on me!
