  • i use the same dye, usually. I'm trying to switch it up, though. I'm thinking i'll go a dark copper color

  • Omg! i use the same product but mine is called "light intense red"....i really love the color :D

  • I adore your color!!!

  • NICE! What's ur natural hair color?

  • I use Ion 7IR (its apart of the red family) with a 10 developer. I just touched up my roots and now my roots are the vibrant color i love and my ends are darker and dull. Please give me some advise so I can get my roots to match my bottom part of my hair. thank you!

  • I absolutely love your hair color, it looks amazing. :)

  • you are so pretty(:

  • Q: So I saw quite a few ppl using 'Ion Color Brilliance Creme Permanent Hair Color Medium Intense Red Blonde'- but their hair came out like RED CRAYON red....I want more normal red...like urs....

  • I have like red velvet hair color and I use this shampoo that has kinda like red dye in it and ohhh lord it is amazing it makes my red brighter and it helps keep the color stay in your hair longer(: it's sooo good I get it at sallys and it's called Shimmer lites Red it's in a purple bottle just ask and they will tell you where it is, it's like $10 and it lasts for like 2months! Hope you will us this and it works as good for you!

  • @KraftyKassieStudios I used to use Shimmer Lights for blonde when I had blonde streaks and it worked wonders for keeping it from going brassy! Shimmer Lights is old-school stuff, and it's great stuff!

  • I use the same color! I found that the second time i dyed my hair with it, it turned very red. It fades in about two weeks back to the orange color

  • Beautiful! I love it! :)

  • I really love your color! I love the more natural looking red. : )

  • what is your natural hair color?

  • ok , soo i have naturally black hair & i dyed it jet black about 1 -2 years aqoo but now i bleached my hair & dyed it with ( ion color brilliance in medium intense red blonde) & it came out really red but its spotty . . .it has alot of black areas still . If i use this product again will i need to bleach my hair again even doe its allready sorta red or should i just dye it withought bleaching again ? . . . .

  • ur hair eyes and skin r amazing!

  • great video! :) ive got two questions~ first)my hair is brown, will i need to bleach my hair before dying red or will the developing creme lighten it enough to be a vibrant red? second) how is that dye when it comes to rinsing it out after coloring?is it really messy or not that bad? thankyou. (:

  • u remind me of 1 beautiful gorgeous lady....ADELE..hehehe

  • hheh heh heh my hurrs that color naturally :)

  • Does the filler help the rest of the hair match the roots? I used to dye my hair red but my roots would always end up way brighter than the rest when I would touch up!

  • You're really pretty =]

  • You're so beautiful :D♥

  • you have the best, clearest video, thank GOD i checked this one out. Your beautiful as well <3 thanks!

  • You are beautiful

  • Sally's is awesome!!

  • Your hair looks beautiful, very expensive looking good job!

  • love love love your makeup hair nice too

  • 1:14 Arnt those sexy eyes lmao ;]

  • Adorbs. I think I saw something similar to this on obsesh.com

  • I know this is about your hair buttt i just wanna say i LOVE that lipstick color! :)

  • come and dyee mine

  • you're beautiful!! wow amazing

  • Does the protein filler really work? Cause I was thinking about using that for a while now and I dunno if its worth it.

  • i ADORE your hair. looks so beautiful and natural. i have a few questions. when you lifted your original color, did you use bleach or just a developer? and did you use developer in the color when you put it on? that sounds tough on the hair :( oh and btw... i always wondered about upkeep with red hair. why do you use color and developer through your ends too? doesnt it make your hair more dry? sorry for so many questions :(

  • Hey, i want to dye my hair bright red so i was just wondering what colour your hair was to begin with and if that affects how long it takes for the dye to fade.

  • did you have dark hair to begin with. I really dont want to bleach my hair but want a vibrant colour

  • I have a question:My friend had red hair and said he jumped in a chlorine pool and his hair turned pink...will that happen???

  • Travel around the world with and Naughty women mworld5.info

  • WOW your beautiful!

  • To get the best result I would recommend leaving out the shower cap and heat- the heat strengthens the developer which in turn damages the hair and allows faster fading. If you can, use a semi permanent colour to refresh (no developer needed) your colour inbetween regrowth touch ups- also a sulfate free shampoo helps stop the colour fading. I love the way you have styled your hair, very pretty :-)

  • if i want a really bright intense color do i have to bleach my hair before?

  • How'd you get your hair style like that? It's lovely!

  • Wanted to recommend to you, other than batiste for your oily hair (i'm a sally's whore too :-) )...what I found to really works with my ion ...i'm a brunette (naturally light ash brown) but I dye it Ion's darkest brown.....i switched to conditioner only, I use Aura....I wash my hair with Aura every other day...NO PROBLEMS with greasy hair, and my hair color stays pretty fresh from at least 4 weeks....

  • i lovee ur hair(;

  • I want this color! I just had my colored black hair turned into blonde, but not really feeling it so much..I'm scared to get the intense color bc of my hair being a blonde color.I don't wanna end up with pink hair.I'll do a strand test.Wish me luck! This will be in 2 weeks.

  • youre so pretty. love miracle 7. thanks for sharing!:)

  • very pretty look :) reminds me of kate winslet in titanic..i loved her hair so red :)

  • Did you dye your eyebrows? If I were to get a similar color to yours and I have black eyebrows, do you think it would look weird?

  • Your hair color is absolutely gorgeous! I'm a natural blonde and I've always wanted my hair to have a pretty reddish tint to it! .. The red looks beautiful on you and really brings out your blue eyes! :)

  • I absolutly love your lipcolor!

  • how did you lifted the black hair out?

  • Comment removed

  • I've always wanted to mix my own dye but I'm so afraid. I use Clairol's Paint The Town and it's almost a true red. I've also always wanted to do a My Little Pony streak of color like pink, purple, and blue but Lord if I messed it up I'd be in a mess : P

  • i wanted to ask u, what did u use to lift out the black dye? I hve dark brwn hair naturally but ive dyed it black a lot of times n n so when i tried to go red only my roots grabbd the color ughhh... I LOVE ur color n so i was thinking maybe i should lift the color out first to go light red like urs :)

  • Where do u get the protein filler?

  • Angie I love the way red color takes to you. Its amazing with your beautiful eyes and skin tone.

  • Gorgeois hair gorgeios eyes and skin.

  • i love your eye make up have you done a tutorial on it

if you havent could you do one please its really nice :)

  • @verycherry98 I do have a tutorial for it : ) It's the Easy Bridal one a couple videos back

  • The Miracle 7 is great. I use their leave in conditioner alone with their shampoo..

  • I've been lucky enough to see this hair in person, and it is awesomer than awesome is awesome. So is the person it's on. This is a true, though somewhat odd statement. Trust me.

  • @chickfixit doooooooooooood you are awesomer than awesome could ever be! <3

  • Hope you feel better soon :)

  • Oops, forgot to ask.....do you dye your eyebrows at all or just pencil them with auburn? ;) I want this red, but not sure if I can pull it off ;)

  • @ahugdahl I use a light ashy brown eyeshadow to fill them in

  • What was your starting hair color? I love the red, but nervous to do this myself ;(

  • @ahugdahl I lifted out a black dye so my hair was sort of a light brownish blonde before applying the dye

  • Try the Beyond the Zone Rock On dry shampoo, you get almost twice as much for less money, it works great, and it smells good...........I believe it sells for like six dollars, also the protein filler you can add to your shampoo to add more red tones to your hair, just leave it on for a few mins for the color to penetrate the shaft of the hair!!

  • could you do a tutorial for your eye make up in this video ? (:

  • @EdieDanielle1995 I do have a video for the make-up, it's the easy bridal one : )

  • We are soulmates! I love ION, different red though. I use the protein filler, but in-between coloring, to help with the fading. I've got really short hair, so I don't have the issues with length. My hair isn't oily, so I can go three days between shampooing. I've tried a clensing conditioner, instead of regular shampooing, but I don't know if I like it or not.

  • What's the difference b/w buying the individual products at Sally's or buying a box set at a drugstore?

  • Hey miss missy I looooove ur makeup on the default image u have for this videooo... Can u do tute for it?? Love the hair n makeup n everything about it! Hehehe

  • I Love the shade your hair is here, you look like a super glamorous Ariel! :)

  • That color is gorgeous!!

  • LADIES WHEN YOU USE A BLOW DRYER USE THE CAP AND BLOW DRY WITH THE CAP ON NOT DIRECTLY ON THE HAIR

  • The Ion Color Brilliance is the best Sally's red I've found so far. I use the 6R (but thinking of changing to the 7IR next time.) Their after-color conditioner works great, too.

The HairOne cleansing conditioner (also at Sally's) works great for not stripping color-treated hair as it's not a shampoo. You use a lot more product when you wash, but it's pretty good at preserving my color.

B/w colorings, I also use the protein filler to refresh the ends. :)

    Great vid!

  • Thank you for posting this vid. Your hair is gorgeous!! I was wondering about the filler and how to use it. :) U ROCK.

  • im so jealous of how shiny your hair always looks! PS that colour looks great on you!

  • I'm also a red head and the trickiest thing for me is actually find a brow color that matches. Do you have tips for this?

  • Could you show us a demo of you using the products...that you displayed in this vid...

  • I have purple hair, and I've found that using Hair One with Jojoba Oil is an amazing cleanser. It cleans your hair like a shampoo but it doesn't strip color, and it conditions as well. I also have extremely oily hair, but as time goes on, it starts to produce less oil naturally. I wash my hair every three days, and it's a lot less oily now. Great video! I'm thinking of going red soon. Clairol ion is my favorite dye.

  • your eyes are so pretty, I have seen your makeup tutorials and they are great, I didnt realize how pretty your eyes are with less makeup!

  • Red hair really fits you. :) My friend recently dyed her hair red, maybe I'll share some of these tips with her! Thanks

  • i wish i could find this color protien filler, but im in canada and dont have any sallys here... damn.

  • I actually use the dye you use, and a while back I used the medium intense red blonde and my hair came up a cinnamony color, but I really like their medium intense red, but it's a dark burgundy.

I have no idea what my point was. :/

  • You have really shiny, pretty hair.

  • Do you have a problem w/ the red coming off on your pillowcase and clothes? My hairstylist told me the molecules for red hair dye are larger than for other colors hence the fading.

  • @WestofWestern I haven't had any trouble with this dye tranferring. I did use a blue dye from Manic Panic once that did bleed on my pillowcases, which was a bummer.

  • Thank you for sharing your products! I have a few suggestions for you that you may like:

I have very oily hair as well, and dry shampoos have been my lifesaver when it comes to keeping my color longer! I use TIGI's Dirty Secret dry shampoo. Its about $20, but a little goes a long way and it smells nice too.

Also, I love Ion Color Defense Color Sealer, its a conditioner that feels very nourishing and silky, but never leaves my hair greasy. You can get it at Sally's.

    Hope this helps! :)

  • @bluenitedragon Oh very cool! That Ion sealer sounds great, I will check it out. Thank you for sharing love : )

  • You Are AWSOME!!!!!

  • you look sooo pretty in here! :)

  • @Deeprealm You spell weird : x

  • When you're at Sally's, you should pick up some Hair One and give that a try. It's a sulfate-free conditioning shampoo (if you've heard of Wen, it's the same thing) and it really helps keep color vibrant while not making you have to sacrifice washing it as often as you want.

  • @xTenshiko I have been eyeing that Hair One. I will definitely try it one day. Thanks for recommending it. <3

  • Beautiful colour Angie!

    xx

  • love your hair angie hope you feel better soon.

  • Dry shampoo is so cheap in the uk.

  • you look like Ariel from the little mermaid. very pretty!

  • I Love the Red hair!

  • I LOVE miracle 7. It's amazing.

  • Do you take the thumbnail pics of yourself for each video? The one for this particular video is really cool!

  • @Neequu78 Thank you! I do take pictures for the thumbnails. : )

  • thats the dye i use! :) i never thought to blow dry it with the dye on or the cap great idea im going to try that next time <3 somtimes when i rinse i only use the conditioner or i wont use anything and put a little bio silk and i use the flat iron andi wont wash it for 3-4 days it helps keep the color longer.... i noticed the color safe shampoo doesnt wash all the oil in my hair like normal shampoo does... kinda leaves my hair flat somtimes im going to try that dry shampoo ur useing :)

  • @rachel102029 Good tips! I have the same problem with the color safe shampoo too that's why I wanted to try dry shampoo. It has helped, although nothing feels as clean as washing your hair.

  • @goldiestarling Thank you for your graet tips im going to also try that proteine stuff too! :) my ends do fade quick i had no idea there was any thing like that to help.... so awsome of you to make this video! before i dyed my hair over a year ago i was looking threw you tube and didnt really find too much about dying hair red so im sure your going to helpout alot of red heads out there ;)

  • Awe!! I LOVE it! :D

I was looking at the ION dyes a couple of days ago. lol Do they fade fast?

  • p.s. Thank you for the shout oot! ^_^ <3

  • @JosefScarletteMUA It's the best one I've used so far. I really want to try Schwarzkopf but I don't want to buy it online and I can't find it. I need to see it beforehand. But I think whatever dye you are using is working. <3

  • @goldiestarling Yeah! I've been wanting to use that brand too. And I've been looking at 'Special FX' too! I AM SOOOOOOOOOO wanting that neon orange. lol

Awe, thanks honey!! The only bad thing is that red hair fades WICKED fast. It's obnoxious. lol!

  • Love your hair color:))

  • What is your natural hair color? Mine is dark brown and I attempted to dye it red with some Garnier dye (walmart lol) and now its black with a reddish/purple hue..its TERRIBLE!!!! Should I just go to a salon or do you think the dye you use from Sally's will do? HELP! lol

  • @MegaMakeupaddict My hair is naturally dark brown too but before dying it red I had a black dye in it which I had to get out with a color lifter. That was a pain. I would say go to a salon and get their opinion. : )

  • your hair looks amazing... good job!

  • Wow that was much more elaborate than I expected. Maybe that's why my colour fades so quickly. I haven't dyed my hair red in over 10 yeaars but I assume that these fabulous tips apply to hair colouring in general? And sorry in advance for sounding dumb but what exactly does the developer do?

  • @sakuraness A developer basically opens the hair follicle to let the color penetrate. As for the tips in general I think they can be applied. : )

  • Red is the hardest to get right!!! Thanks.

  • I have bright red highlights in my hair and I use the VO5 or Suave conditioner to wash my hair. It's cheap and it works better than shampoo, in my opinion. I only wash my hair about once every 2 weeks, but you would never know. My roots grow in long before the color fades!

  • Thank you so much for posting this video!!! You rock!!! <3's

  • I have bright red hair! :D i love red <3

  • when u pull the color through to your ends you should spray the color with some water to dilute it a bit so that the developer isnt as strong on your ends. You only need 10 vol for the ends :) and that will help it to stay more vibrant :) xoxo

  • @staceybrennan Thank you Love! I really appreciate your advice and I will do that next time. <3

  • I don't suggest using Henna on your hair unless you plan to stick with it, because the chemical processes from normal hair coloring can react badly and can A) turn your hair crazy funky colors or B) break your hair off at the point where the henna and new growth form. And I AM a professional.

  • yay..ive been wanting to know for so long..too bad im not in the states..no sally's..might be able to get some when i go on my trip to newyork! :D

  • i never told you before but i love all your videos and your so talented and awesome..x

  • @rock6669 aww thank you so much love! <3

  • henna is really long lasting red

i have done red and black henna on my hair

is completely natural and depending of the quality of the henna u will have a more copper red or a more deeper and carmine red ( best quality is fresh Body art quality)

since u are american i think the site hennaforhair will explain all ( there is eve a store)

no bleaching needed :) and it make the hair stronger :)

  • with the color filler, do you put that in the bowl and apply it just by itself or do you mix it with the remainder of the color and developer???

  • This was really helpful, because I've been planning on dying my hair red for a while! :)

  • i've always loved the color of your hair! and i'm so glad you put the link to the hair tutorial in the downbar, can't wait to try it sometime! :)

  • Tresemme makes dry shampoo now & it's around $5.50 @ drugstores, Target, Wal-Mart... places like those. Hope this saves you some $!

  • @threesthekey I have been looking for the Tresemme dry shampoo! Do you know if it smells good? I would hope so, I like most of their hair products. : )

  • @goldiestarling If you've tried other Tresemme products, it smells exactly like that. A very pleasant smell. I bought the one for oily/straight hair, but I find that it makes my hair feels extremely dry. I see you have curly hair, so obviously the dry shampoo for curly hair might be a better option for you.

  • @goldiestarling the tresemme dry shampoo sucks! it leaves a horrible residue in the hair I had to stop using it :( my hair felt like CRAP now im using the batiste one OR the one by Rock ON, they are soooooooooo much better!

  • @goldiestarling smells delicious, a bit citrus-y

  • @goldiestarling I don't use any other Tresemme products, so I can't tell you whether or not it's the same scent. But, IMO it smells good & I'm very particular about how my hair products smell.

  • @goldiestarling it smells alright. I use it on my bangs regularly since they look oily really quickly. :) Your hair looks HAWT by the way.

  • @goldiestarling yeah tressemme rocks! I have curly thick hair and the flawless curls does them great! lol thanks for sharing this haircolor video =)

  • You look gorgeous in this video Angie! And is it just me or is the quality of this vid heaps better than usual?

  • that isn't what you consider a "box kit" box kits are in target, walmart, etc....you color your hair at home the RIGHT way....custom mix

  • @relaximdointhis I used box kits before, but now I do it this way. : )

  • @goldiestarling oh ok I see...i thought u thought that was what a box kit was. lol....i can't wait until i'm a red head! I'm virgin to hair coloring....i've never even gotten a rinse

  • ur hair is so gorgeous!! love the style! i wanna do this for a wedding i'm being in next week- pls pls pls pls pls pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase could u do a tut??!!?!?!?! x x x x

  • @ChaygitM Hi love! I actually followed a hair tutorial by HollywoodNoirMakeup. I put the link in the sidebar for you. : )

  • @goldiestarling bless ya! ur such a darling x

  • @goldiestarling i mean the bottom bar lol...

  • I live in Canada and we do have a sallys but its in toronto and its too far for me so i go to Beauty supply outlet.... and they have basically the same things there.... i dye my hair blonde i get the wella lite, its really good! i use a 40 peroxide and its not drippy and it doesnt burn my scalp and it comes out really good! so i dont have to dye it twice.

  • wohhooo first ^^

ok I wanna say you something I'm a big fan of tim burton and I'm making castumes with my friend charlene maby you wanna chek it out ^^

    bye
