Of course you talk about TV, movie and cartoon characters. Just because people talk about these things doesn't mean they believe in them. Atheists talk about Superman, too but I doubt that any of them actually believe that he exists outside of fiction. Likewise with god. @Rocketboy625 Most atheists won't claim any knowledge of what happens when we die. But the most logical conclusion is that we no longer function. We are gone, that is it. I know it can be a little scary, but you can't let fear ruin your life. Fear of death is what causes people to do such great things with their life. I argue that thinking that there is an afterlife, makes this life a little pointless, since you only spend a few decades here and gain immortality elsewhere.

Why would anyone think anything different happens? Why would someone invent in their imagination a magical part of a human body that can live on after death with no evidence to support it what so ever?

religion serves two main purposes. one is control (the guys that invent a religion use it to control the "lesser" ppl) and comfort (thoes that believe a religion, find comfort with that delution).

Homeopathy is a brand of woo which sells placebo remedies on the premise that by taking something that causes an effect (eg, a sore throat) and diluting it repeatedly, it will become a powerful medication which cures that symptom. The dilutions used equate to having to drink around 16 swimming pools full of water to be sure of ingesting one single molecule of active ingredient. James Randi does some good take-downs of homeopathy.

The terms you see them using (1C, 2C etc.) are homeopathic terms to refer to the "strength" of the alleged remedy)

I'm not even sure he's homeopathic. That's why the title of the video contains the word, "perhaps".
