That's not true that we only like American bands because we are American. For me personally, my favorite band of all time, Def Leppard, is not American. You need to understand that there is so much music played over hear that it's hard to hear it all and we have a ton of different radio stations that all play different music, so sometimes you just have to be on the right station at the right time to hear someone like Westlife or Take That, which have both had hits hear in the U.S.

I'm another HUGE Westlife fan from the States and always will be even if they never "break" America!! At 25 years of age, I've never listened to the kind of music that's big here. It's always been BSB, Westlife and that kind of thing! Missed my chance at seeing them when they were in Phoenix in 2001 but I was away at university! Thought Nicky was just hilarious in the video, especially out on the streets!! Not to mention extremely HOTT and just plain adorable!! Thanx for posting the video!

I like Westlife, but I've only discovered them in the past several months. To my knowledge, they only have two American hits: Swear It Again and Flying Without Wings. The latter was only made popular due to American Idol Season 2 winner, Ruben Studdard.
Do American people think Westlife are gay and the songs are too soft? Or Westlife is not the best group? Or something else? Or some negative things about them? I feel so disappointed, is it the lyrics are not good enough? It really is wasting them and disappointing.

I'm another HUGE Westlife fan from the States and always will be even if they never "break" America!! At 25 years of age, I've never listened to the kind of music that's big here. It's always been BSB, Westlife and that kind of thing! Missed my chance at seeing them when they were in Phoenix in 2001 but I was away at university! Thought Nicky was just hilarious in the video, especially out on the streets!! Not to mention extremely HOTT and just plain adorable!! Thanx for posting the video!

yea i'm a US lifer and it totally stinks because i hadnt heard of them until last year so i missed them in LV and trying to break the U.S. :(
but i totally heard the music of "world of our own" on one of those "fabulous life of..." shows on MTV. needless to say it made my day

i think Westlife is the best boyband!much better than american's boybands (BSB) i like bsb but for me Westlife is much better!i don't know why Americans don't like Westlife's music!!! they should listen to them first! here in southamerica Westlife is wellknown and i really love them!!!

I've have all of their last 7 albums and I'm waiting to receive the 8th by mail soon. I'm Canadian and I love Westlife. I want them to tour Canada so bad, but I don't think that might happen anything soon.

Ahhh it makes me mad that they can not break America...I feel bad because I did not even know they were over here trying to release something...that sux!!! I live in the USA and i love westlife. I dont know why americans dont like westlife but there's bound to be more than one fan that likes them over here. I constantly hear their songs on around places. such as uptown girls i usually hear that song in small restaurants and ,even thought i dont watch this show, on mtv the show next sometimes they play the begininning of westlife song fool again so you can hear their songs around here just their name isnt famous, yet.

I like Westlife, but I've only discovered them in the past several months. To my knowledge, they only have two American hits: Swear It Again and Flying Without Wings. The latter was only made popular due to American Idol Season 2 winner, Ruben Studdard.

Do American people think Westlife are gay and the songs are too soft? Or Westlife is not the best group? Or something else? Or some negative things about them? I feel so disappointed, is it the lyrics are not good enough? It really is wasting them and disappointing.

I have a question, do American people know Westlife? They have no idea who Westlife are; they listen to their country's songs. It's a wasting time for Westlife go touring and concert as well as tiring them, not as crowd in Europe and Asia. Ah I get it Westlife are more famous in Europe and Asia. In Australia too not all people are like it, especially European and Asian people in there they listen to Westlife.

I totally agree, I live in canada and the only way you would ever see a concert is to go to ireland, hong kong or australia... but one saturday like 3 months ago I heard "amaazing" on the radio, so I was hoping ppl would catch on but so far no.

you're right, westlife are bigger than bsb and nsync. i'm a fan of theirs, but i can't deny that westlife have more talent and are better-looking, even though they don't dance.
