Yes, Dundee should have refused to be a part of it, unfortunately, someone else is always ready to step in and use someone. It was'nt just Dundee either, everyone involved should be ashamed. Athletes are like a drug addict, so i don't blame them as much as everyone else.

I agree. Dundee is an absolute scumbag for having anything to do with Ali fighting Holmes. An idiot could see that Ali was in terrible condition at this point in his life and could have been killed.

Ali not only was in no condition to fight for the heavyweight championship, he obviously was having neurological problems and was not well, period.

I disagree. Atheletes are the first to know when they don't have it and can't do it anymore. They are just great at lying to themselves..But they know first

Not always. They are performers, like actors or opera singers. As long as they are people to watch and as long they have been successful, then they have no reason to question their abilities overall. They may know that they can't run as fast, etc., but the ability to perform successfully may not always require that they, the great athlete, perform at their absolute peak

@jrmafia27 i agree, I mean with Rocky Marciano, he said in in his training for his last fight against Archie moore, Rocky said to his trainer and his both brothers that he cold not stand the ordor and intence trining in the gym any more, so after his last fight, Rocky Retired while still on top, cause he knew that he contineued he might have had his streak broken. thats what ali should have done after the last ali-frazier fight is he sould have retired as well like rocky did.
