@braddnichols No man, a body kit only cost like $500-900 really, depending on where u get it and what type of material you get, and then the exhaust system wouldnt cost any more than $1000-$1500, an '03 cobra can cost anywhere from $17,000 on up, i just got my v6 a month or so ago and it cost $9500, so if u add the body and exhaust its still not even close to the cobra
My Lawn Mower sounds better then that. V6 Sports cars are jokes. Its all about them V8's. You can try and talk shit but my car sounds better, looks better, and guarantee that its faster. I got an old ass video up on my page. about 2 weeks after i got it 3 days after i got the rims. Gonna post a new vid soon with all the mods.

@MrBriggsie My old V6 was cammed with a few other mods, and it made plenty of bolt on 2004 and earlier GT's see tail lights. you can see one of my old sixxer's track videos in my profile. Just like any other car, with the right mods and a good driver it can be quick.
@ahot2000stang clearly the case considering the license plate is 1Clean6. Anyway this Mustang was sold over a year ago, and I just picked up a '11 5.0. Best quarter mile with the V6 in this video was driven by me, on slicks, to a 13.2 @ 106.5

not always true number of reasons one would buy a v6 over a v8 even if there racing it for one v6 is lighter for 2 aftermarket companys will produce more smaller engine parts in the near future for mustangs becasue the new gt mustangs will have v8s...instead they wil have turbo v6 i think starting 2011-2012 not sure but u can look it up
Id be all for maybe a seperate gt model with a turbo v6 but id be flabergasted if ford got rid of the v8 in the gts. That would completely destroy the identity of the car. After all, it is an american muscle car. I myself have a v6 and race it on road coarses. I think its a little better in the corners because of the weight. It all depends on your budget and what youre using it for.
dude if you put dual exhaust and hollow out the cataletic converters yours will sound like this if not beastier. also stuff like a cool air intake adds a little sound. if your really into sound get a turbo.
@dlinecg More factors come in to play when you forget to list age/sex/location/driving history/length of time with a certain insurance company. When you are a young guy with maybe a ticket or two a V8 GT can be nearly double what a 6 would be.
im sure that was the intention, to make it sound like an 8 and be cheaper, 6s are cheaper for gas, insurance, parts and with the modifications can perform just as well

All of these people commenting are out of their mind. Sounds like a 4.6? Yeah right, not even close. Sounds like a V6,epecially in the drive by when you can hear that tiny engine struggling. Why would anyone bother camming a 3.8? What a waste of money. When you get a real car feel free to post more videos. For now I'll stick to my blown and cammed 03 4.6. Whether I get 6 mpg or not, I'll still blow the doors off any V6, cammed or not

im sure that was the intention, to make it sound like an 8 and be cheaper, 6s are cheaper for gas, insurance, parts and with the modifications can perform just as well

@skinspick6 Gawd damn I wish my '99 V6 sounded like this. A few weekends ago I was looking at buying a 2011 5.0 GT but geezus the insurance. Forget it. Rollin' with a V6 definitely helps you out on insurance.

All of these people commenting are out of their mind. Sounds like a 4.6? Yeah right, not even close. Sounds like a V6,epecially in the drive by when you can hear that tiny engine struggling. Why would anyone bother camming a 3.8? What a waste of money. When you get a real car feel free to post more videos. For now I'll stick to my blown and cammed 03 4.6. Whether I get 6 mpg or not, I'll still blow the doors off any V6, cammed or not
