Don't let it get to you. These things take time to figure out. Do you think you could understand Photoshop in one day? Read the manual for Final Cut. Do a search for Final Cut tutorials online. I'll bet there are thousands of tutorials out there. Find a good Final Cut message board and ask questions..... Good luck and I'm certain that soon we will be seeing some great video from you. Learning Video editing isn't going to happen over night but you WILL accomplish it if you don't give up!

also another thing you can try is go into the movie clip, right click the movie clip and click on Detach Audio. Then when you export it hopefully it is in sync.

Bree, Im in Fort Wayne too. It sounds to me like maybe you just need some tutorials on using the iMovie, there isnt a reason why it shouldnt work. From what I know sometimes audio and stuff seems off before you fully render something out. If signature mac doesn't seen to be able to help you there is another places called Macanix, google them.
