dont u think the visibility of the flame in the ''C'' models is a defect...coz it can be seen very clearly if engaged in a fight as compared 2 the normal ones

Personally I found the flash at night from the ports noticeable, but I switched to a low flash round like the Remington gold saber. Now there are no drawbacks and I love my g19c

Load it with Hornady Critical Defense and the muzzle flash issue goes away enough

After that you have 'almost' the perfect 9mm

Now if they made it completely Ambidextrious for those of us who are lefty-only--Then--It would be perfect

i agree, have fired a 19 A LOT myself, not really noticeable recoil. A C model will provide circumstances for really fast shooting, i guess....

It does nothing to reduce recoil, only muzzle flip.

Less flip means getting back on target faster, which means faster double taps.

They don't have much recoil, but the compensator keeps the muzzle down even more, effectively negating muzzle rise if you have a good stance/grip. And people say that the muzzle flash is distracting, but I do not even notice it in low light. It's easy to see when watching someone shoot, but when shooting I can't notice it in the slightest. And it's not like un-compensated guns have no muzzle flash. The difference in negligible.

Ha this is the kind of gun I think I am going to get for my conceal carry, the ported barrel is appealing to me.

Also it was badass, the V of Fire coming out of the top makes it that much better

It's concealed carry, not "conceal" carry.

And while the porting is neat for target shooting because it lessens muzzle flip, when a group of thugs attacks you one night or invades your home, blinding flash in your face is about the last thing you'll want added to the list of things working against you.
