  • Interesting, I think parts of this are not spot on how Ashton wanted it portrayed. It seems t me that Oberon and Titania are being played too much like they are man/woman in a romantic pdd, they don't convey a sense that they are not human.

  • One of the most beautiful pas de deux ever. I'd have every wannabe choreographer study this one. The inventiveness of the moves, the changes of mood and tempo, the use of counterpoint to the music, the repetitions that are so satisfying to the viewer. Ashton was the master. "The Dream" is a dream.

  • I love Ashton ,

  • The sagging arabesques are kind of funny (5:30)

  • Ferri's arches are ridiculous.

  • ooops. I made a mistake-Steifel is playing Oberon, not Puck (in my comment below)

  • what music is this?

  • this choreography looks difficult, many nuances. but i must say in the play puck and tatiana are not so friendly.

  • @gloworm110 what is this ballet about?

  • @LaurenStar111 The ballet is based off the story of A Midsummer's Night Dream, by Shakespeare
