Interesting, I think parts of this are not spot on how Ashton wanted it portrayed. It seems t me that Oberon and Titania are being played too much like they are man/woman in a romantic pdd, they don't convey a sense that they are not human.
One of the most beautiful pas de deux ever. I'd have every wannabe choreographer study this one. The inventiveness of the moves, the changes of mood and tempo, the use of counterpoint to the music, the repetitions that are so satisfying to the viewer. Ashton was the master. "The Dream" is a dream.
