  • that is a cool project!

  • I want to make a similar design for mine but that goes 10 meters and bigger, does it matter how tight the elastic band is or the weight of the metal thingy?

  • you are cool ;D

  • hiya, the yellow thing is the sling, a small cloth patch that holds onto the missile, jellybean etc.

  • whats the yellow thing on the string on the trebuchet tell me asap thx nincompoopytoys

  • Why would I buy that! ... Waiiit my science project! Lol

  • What is the weight of the counter weight?

  • how thick is the wood?

  • I need to make 1 for school

  • @killersbiggestfan Well I went over to a friends house and basically made it from scratch, so no blueprints available ... But you can look on google "how to make a trebuchet" and that's where I got my idea from. They can show you how to make big ones or small ones like the guy in the video. Sorry I wasn't much help, if I had the blueprints I would send them to you right away :/ Sorry!

  • @killersbiggestfan 1st :D

  • nice tutorial +1

  • What do the two holes near the counterweight do? Make it more aerodynamic?

  • @xXHANIFXx1 It was just an attempt to lighten the weight of the swing arm. The less weight in the swing arm, the further it might throw. (It didn't make much difference.)

  • @nincompooptoys Didn't you ligthened it on the wrong side?

  • @nincompooptoys you should have made hole on the side of the projectile. the counterweight part must be as heavy as possible

  • Someones GOT to tell me how to make this, fast! I got a project due on monday! XD

  • nice weapon

  • hey man take a look at my trebuchet i hit the gate of castle

  • Hey, does anyone know if there is a formula on how long the throwing arm is supposed to be compared to its base. Plz, I have a science project.

  • @White92Knight you can google trebuchet calculators to get the dimensions, or use pythagoras theorem, start with a ratio of 3 to 1 on your throwing arm....have fun

  • omg really simple project i gonna make one! thx

  • i made one of these for history class just bigger, it shot candy XD

  • bravo awesome

  • nincompoop lol

  • if you like this sort of stuff you should really check out my video it got about twelve meters.

  • is there like a instruction sheet 4 this cuz my school teacher needs a sheet 4 our class so we can be assesed on teamwork and co operation

  • thanks for your enquiry: our trebuchet kit comes complete with all the components needed to assemble it, and does include a detailed instruction sheet.
