  • I LOOOOOOOOOOVEEEEEEE THIS SONG!!!!!!!! ONE OF THE BEST SONGS EVER WRITTEN

  • is wonderful

  • Brilliant.

  • I mean, you could just stay in front of the camera wearing a tux with only a spotlight on your chin, and act the song out, and it's fab! And today there's all kind of effects that should aid on making the video a more immersive and emotional experience, and yet it's all bland. Oh the good old days...

  • Those things used to be so much more meaningful and truly dramatic (in a good way) back then. Nowadays it's all pastiche and acting out... no guts implied on the performance.

  • This is Tuxedomoon The Stranger, Wiston Tongs is just the singer

  • Reminds me a bit of David Sylvian

  • anomie is best...

the studio version is much better, especially reciting 'l'etranger', does anyone know if that is actually camus?

  • yes albert camus.

  • es una canción maravillosa

  • i agree with you for the studio version.I have it in my favorite!

  • @juankenon It's only the last part of the song that brings similarities to the book when Meursault goes to his mother's funeral!

  • @ErmisLeventakis

On the studio version of this song there are samples of someone reading excerpts from the book in French at the beginning and middle of the song. It is actually off a recording Camus himself did in April, 1954. Highly recommended, if you speak French, to try to track that down, it is fairly easy to get a hold of.

  • masterpiece!

i am definitly in love with Tuxedomoon!

  • Really beautiful video.

  • Best dance music tune I know of. One of the best tunes overall.

  • no high tech fuss or special effects, pure and simple, what a beautiful piece of art on video

  • sad

  • sadness

  • sadness

  • sadness, darkness and anger

    that ı felt

  • a beautiful song.

  • Good stuff. reminiscent of Murphy & Karn, Dali's Car

  • Whoohoo - soundtrack of my life back in the 80's

Still love this Song and the Vid is fantasic!!!

  • does anyone have a copy of that Nikos Triandafillidis documentary or know where to get it?

  • wow!!!

  • thanks a lot for sharing that kind of music !! very good song !!

  • i saw this one in Nikos Triandafillidis Documentary about Tuxedomoon (made in greece where Blaine lives).Great group.I wish they wouldn't play live anymore because you see 10% of what they were..
