This is not the original. Question Mark and the Mysterians were doing this song in 1965. This is a cover from 1967 and while it's good, it doesn't have the addictive quality of the original.

Well it's really not a cover. In that it wasn't made close enough to the original to try to steal its revenue. It's more of a homage to the original which is now a standard.
