This is a very rare 1944 Decca remake of the trio's 1937 million seller. The remake was never released & seems to have just surfaced recently. I was the updated version they were singing in live stage shows & on radio at that time, with more of a swing, big-band theme than the original jazzy version. Thanks for posting. i think its originally jiddisch, which is is the traditional language of most european jews. in the time of the third reich many of them immigrate to the usa, and so they combined their original language with english in songs :)
