Mayor was so sick before illusions became popular and people started maindecking gut shot and nonsense like that. If you play a mayor and pass the turn with counter mana up against anything but a red deck you were almost guaranteed the win, doubly so if you could copy it eot with cackling counterpart. 1/1 is just too fragile atm though.

@hamishfox tokens can't flip, it would be better to let it flip then copy it with cackling counterpart. also you want it to flip before you copy it with phantasmal image as well, since again phantasmal image can not flip. look it up too if you're shaking your head and think i'm wrong.
