china has all kind of evil things, so many death camp, secret police, etc etc,,,,,,,china is most hell place in the world, communist kill their against people without any permission necessary, chinese communist party killed historical amount of people, china is perfectly lawless zone for anythings
Well done. I leave for Sydney on Sunday, and will be stopping off on my way down in Beijing for 1 week. I believe you reached the wall by local bus? I would love to do the same thing, please tell??
What's wrong with Chinese people? I am Chinese but not a native one. That bear is not in its natural environment. It should be put back into the wild. I would not patronise such a stall and I feel that the tourists, including domestic tourists (if they can appreciate what is called animal welfare) should boycott it too. Disgraceful. China obviously has made little strides in animal compared to its economy.
yeah iv been to this part of the wall, around 50 mins from the centre of beijing, and down the bottom there are too many people, too many coaches etc. i would've loved to have gone to a quieter part in the valley. it is BREATHTAKING !
My class 12 (steiner) trip was to China/Tibet. I suggest you go to the Jin Shan Ling or Simatai parts, we walked from one to the other (13kms). Not so many people, and it was all old and practically untouched. In early September it was very clear. Glad to here you were able to get away from the crowds though.
GODDAMN MONGOWIANS STAY AWAY FROM MY CITY WALL !!!

@minghan05 So, all the zoos in the world should close down and all the animals set free. I agree.

This video of the Wall was different - more commercialized. The one at Badaling was the one that I liked.

I think besides keep the Mongols out,
I think It was a some sort of 'government project' where jobs were created to absorpt huge supply of labours, may be.
Life back then was simple. No electricity, TV...
