I notice you stopped at 2007 and its 2012 now.Does that mean they stopped making cell phones 5 years ago? Nope. What happened was Apple kept releasing the same one phone every year for the past 5 years and only changed a few minor details and added a few minor features.And while they were doing that Google,Motorola,HTC,and Samsung released hundreds of Android phones within 3 years that greatly improved the idea of an iphone and gave the user unlimited possibilites. u forgot android in the video

It was Not until Apple realized there was so much potential to put the far reaching capabilities of smartphones into the hands of the average user. Now a days almost everyone buys a smartphone because the iPhone has reinvented a smartphone to be a device that is actually simple, usable, fun and beautiful. It would be interesting to see a video of the evolution of phones following the iPhone and see how many are simply spin offs of the iPhone. One has to believe almost all of them them are.

HELP. In 1998 or 1999 there was a phone that I really wanted. I am trying to remember the name. It was the first phone with voice command and that was its key feature. I don't think they are safe. I get a headache when I talk for more than 15 min and my ear feels like its burning. I've heard of two cases of young women who used cell phone all day long and they got brain cancer. One of these women is my friend's sister. she has kids and now she can't work and is considered disabled. do you want to take a chance to be like her? Cell phones are great but use them just in case of an emergency.
