he didn't invent anything besides perfect some dance moves. musicals have been around since West Side Story and The Sound Of Music, he and his video directors just made shorter "music videos" it wasn't unique at all.
he was a great singer, dancer and wrote some good songs, i don't think he really invented anything new though. James Brown invented funk, Hendrix psychedelic rock etc. I think Jackson coined it right, he was the King Of Pop, no more, no less.

Are you serious? This guy has been coming back since the early 90's. Most of us obviously didn't want him to come back. His best work was with the Jackson 5 and Thriller. After that who knows what happened. AC/DC and Def Leppard were what I played during Thriller days. There is NO MJ purchases in my past.
