@daralhikma1999 The Libyan economy nearly "boomed", mainly in the agricultural sector. Even some manufacturing activities were developed, mostly related to the food industry. Building construction increased in a huge way. Furthermore, the Italians made modern medical care available for the first time in Libya and improved sanitary conditions in the towns. Oh and by the way, when we were all romans, you were also part of the western culture ;)

Being liberated by the Third Reich from the Ottoman Empire is a change of oppressors at a minimum.

I doubt any non whites (counting Italians as white) would have done very well in the Reich. Slavs & Jews weren't safe let alone a different color person.
