When I speak the phrases, it recognises them. However, I say one normal command (such as "Get my Mail"), then it NEVER works until I logout and login again. It won't even recognise the calibrations until I login again.
My mac doesnt recognise even one voice command. i tried caliberating the mic and my commands never flash or get recognised no matter how many times I speak or where I keep the slider. I guess I have a computer unfriendly voice. :-(
ive got a problem as well. i have the macbook pro and i tried using speech recognition with the internal mic. it works perfectly on other programmes but doesn't recognize on the speech command. and i don't know how the 'caliberate' thing works. i need help. please reply ASAP! thanks
@schoolfreeware I ReAlly need your help, i just bought the new macPro 15 i7 , and i tried using Speech Recongition using both the internal mic and Nokia bluetooth headset, which both of them work perfectly on programms like Skype when i try using the speech commands the bubble on only detects the volume to be in the blue (low) zone ,even when i set the Mic volume and Calibration on highest PLZZ reply ASAP , regards

ok so you see how there is green in your speech circle thing that means it can hear your voice?mine is on showing alittle bit of blue every now and then.what do i do?
on my mac when i record to one of my songs in my music program i have a delay in my mic like.. the vocals be late behind the beat but i kno i be on beat with the rhythm do anybody have any advice
its called latency. it happens when you have alot going on in your song or there is alot of programs running. just mute the track while youre recording so that you dont hear yourself, then just move the track back in time till it grooves how you remember it
It is possible, but not practical to use the built in system for dictation to Word or Pages. This system works well when controlling the mouse, Safari, Calculator, FireFox and other programs that do not require lots of typing (also as a supplement for commercial dictation software and for users who do not have any other option). Tutorial 3 shows what it is like to type to TextEdit using this system. Dragon Dictate and MacDictate are commercial software that will dictate to word processors.
Is it possible to shut down your Mac using voice command?
