  • "Duunuu..... Duunuu. dundundund"

  • pretty cool vid... yeah the dragon fly was prolly laying eggs... but the fish wasnt fast enough plus the fishes mouth is kinda small to grab that thing... good attempt tho

  • the dragonfly was definately laying eggs I saw her earlier...I have never been able to get sight of a cocoon and the larvae metamorphisis in the pond..I look very carefully at the plant stems but so far no luck

  • @mickdaniels1 firstly, dragonflies go through an incomplete metamorphosis, meaning they DO NOT make cocoons. the young crawl onto a reed stem and their back splits open, out comes the dragonfly! yay!:)

  • neat video, thanks for posting!

  • Thanks for your comment

  • ive seen something cooler than a fish dragonfly fight ive seen a hybrid between them!

  • is it on u tube

  • no it isnt

  • Was he the one that got away? Couldn't quite make out whether he was eaten or not!

  • the dragonfly got away . The fish never opened his mouth to catch the dragonfly , the fish

went to the left and the dragonfly went to the right and flew away

  • Those fish must be too well fed Mick! lol

  • you are exactly right. If I stop feeding them activity increases and they will feed more on flies over the water and on insect larve under the water

  • Thanks Lisa, it was just a stroke of luck that I was filming at the right time

  • OMG That's so funny very good at capturing the rite moments Mick....
